Sony Alpha 7R V Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera

This was my switch from canon to sony. The quality of the camera and photos are very good. What i really dig is the sony app that i can connect from my phone to take photos or download photos and it also updates your camera with firmware.

You can read the specs and watch the reviews to see why this camera is so great. I'll highlight a couple things that stood out to me. I owned the A7RIII before upgrading to the A7RV. The only weakness of the A7R5 when compared to the A7R3 is the battery drains much quicker. Especially when recording 4K video. A full day of video and photos would drain the first battery completely and the second to about 25-40%. I recommend getting the battery grip. The viewfinder is amazingly clear and sharp coming from the A7R3. The anti dust function that shakes the sensor a bit to clear off dust actually works (point sensor down) and is a godsend.

When I purchased the A7RV, I had high expectations. The built in AI works as advertised. The speed of acquiring focus on the subject, as well as accuracy, have been greatly improved. The camera has been a joy to use so far. I've not used it yet for professional use. I am still diving into the new menu system and it is fairly easy to use. I been a Sony user for almost 8 years, and with the variety of lenses available in the e-mount system, this camera will remain relevant for years to come.

I'm blown away by the sheer performance of this beast of a camera. The AI-powered autofocus system is deadly accurate, and the 61MPs is insane. The flip-out screen design is perfect, and the entire build is intuitive. Navigating through the settings can still be hard at first, like most feature/function-packed devices usually are. But it's definitely an improvement over the old UI Sony used. Sony went all out with the a7R5, and I'm left simply amazed by it. I'd buy a second body in a second if I needed another, it's well worth the cost.

bought this A7R V couple days ago and I'm very impressed

I have an a6600 that works well. I was expecting to get great 'birds in flight' shots with the a7r V. So far I am disappointed in the results. Perhaps a firmware update will help. However for stills this is an excellent camera. The "in flight" shots are not bad... but not as good as the a1

Absolutely terrible. Bought a A7RV at a discount on Walmart thinking it would be a normal purchase, especially since the listing shows it as a new item. I didn't notice it was coming from the absolute bottom of the barrel, 6th Ave electronics. Item arrives in a UAE Sony box without any manual. Has some loose cables rattling around in the shipping box. The box has clearly been opened since they had to switch out the US plug so this listing is fake, it's not a new item, its an open box item. 6th ave has not responded to my question from over a day ago. I don't think i'll ever buy another high priced item from walmart again if this is how they do business.
