Sony BDP-S6700 4K Upscaling 3D Home Theater Streaming Blu-Ray DVD Player with Wi-Fi, Dolby Digital TrueHD/DTS, and upscaling

We bought the Sony Blue Ray DVD 4K UHD Upscale product in April 2020. We've owned several Sony products and the quality and features this DVD has to offer for the price, has NOT been disappointing. We compared other 4K UHD DVD's and this Blue Ray DVD offers most current features; along with several streaming apps that an Ultra High Definition 4K model has to offer. There's no uniqueness to the design, however the simple look and design was fine for what we needed. Overall this Sony Blue Ray DVD 4K UHD Upscale product is a good value for what it has to offer and we would definitely recommend. NOTE: This is NOT a paid promotion reviewer.

I recently purchased Sony Blu-ray Disc Player with 4K upscaling and it was very easy to install and program and I like how easy it is to connect to my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and other wireless network.Sony Blu-ray Disc Player with 4K upscaling has a high quality picture quality and the design is classy I love it so much I told all my friends and family about the five star Blu-ray Disc Player with 4K upscaling

This is my first 'smart box' or 'smart appliance' for that matter, so I have no point of reference other than the experience of hooking up an older games machine or laptop to a TV. However this small box has everything I need with loaded apps to the sites I use like Netflix, Amazon and YouTube. It connects to the internet easily, and when the device address drops (because of out network set-up) it is easy to recover the connection. I haven't tried using the player yet as there is so much online content that is now available at a quality level. At one point I considered smart TV's as an option, but would perhaps be inclined just to get this box instead. Its price at Walmart was very good compared to many of the suppliers on Amazon - well done to them!

I bought this product because I wanted to access streaming services. So far it has provided what I've been searching for.

This unit is giving an error while trying to run our collection of Cosmos DVD series for my kids

Bought it on New Years Eve for myself. For my Insanity workouts.

I got it cheap on Black Friday. Picture quality is good. I gave this 3 only because it freezes during load sometimes and need to remove and reload the disc into the player when this happens.

Hook up was easy. Connected to my house WiFi with no issues. Lots of features I'm probably not going to use. After all, most "smart TV"s already have access to the internet. Makes my "old" DVD's look great. Would recommend this product.

Bought for my new 4k tv and it works great. My Blu ray & DVD movies look four times clearer than they did when they were inserted into a Blu ray HD player and played on a HDTV. WiFi was flawless (no lag or random disconnections).

Replaced DVD player at least 10 years old. Tried to save the old one but realized this Sony Blu-Ray player was so reasonably priced it was foolish not to replace "antique". Glad I did. Pictures are crisp and bright. Sound (through my Sony sounder) is enjoyable and reproduced with accuracy. Why did I wait so long?
