Sony BDPS3700 Streaming Blu-Ray Player with WiFi (2016) plus Two Cable Bundle

Am not familiar with entertainment devices, really did not even know how to turn on the TV. Divorce changed all that and I found myself needing to learn a few things to pass the nights away. Started a subscription to NETFLIX and was watching it through my computer. Had a TV left as a built in, but then had to figure out what to do with it as the only cable it had was an HDMI. Roku and Apple TV were a couple of options, but they cost almost as much as this Blu Ray. After researching Blu Ray players, I knew that I wanted wireless and 3D emulation. The SONY was the best choice especially for the money. Hooked it up and it did the rest. Now I can watch movies with no hassle through the TV. Thank you once again SONY.

I Bought this BDP-S3700 Bluray player, and I am very Glad I did, I have always been happy with Sony Products. Have you ever gone to RedBox and found the only Movie you want is in Bluray format and all you have is a DVD player at Home, well here is your solution Two in One, GREAT

I bought this unit mainly to play recently purchased Blu-ray discs since my previous BDP-BX37 would not spin them (some discs are 1-2 mm larger in diameter than older BR media). It does this just fine, but I could not get it to access the internet. I have a number of other WiFi products with no issues with my network, and this unit could access my router but could not see the internet.

Just using one arrow button takes much time. There's also no dramafever, crunchyroll, and twitch for a streaming device. Screen mirroring is lag too an low framerate so it like skipping too many frames (not my connection problem coz I had 150 mbps and my google cast doesn't have that kind of problem). I suggest you buy higher version probably worth the money if the price difference is not that much.

I purchased this product a little over a month ago. I like the product, but 3 weeks after purchasing the hulu app [ver] was no longer supported on this device. This was the reason for the purchased the device. I don't know what's all involved, but if one of your selling points is the streaming, up date the firmware so that it can be used.

It was purchased January 2017 and it died May 2017. It won't play and it won't open traditionally. You have to remove power, hold down the eject button (continue holding), reapply power, wait several seconds, and the drawer will open. You can get your DVD back, but it will never play again.

This is the second player I've had. The first one stopped working and defaulted back to Bluetooth instead of going to the apps. Funny thing is, I never once played a DVD in there. It also kept losing my internet settings and I had to keep going back to reset it, which began to be a big pain. The second player is no better. In fact, it is going back to the store and I plan on exchanging it for a different name brand player. This one keeps freezing when I'm watching YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon.

I bought this DVD player in November and it worked great. I have since used it a few times and it no longer will turn on or accept power. Within the first year of owning it I hope I will get a refund/replacement from Sony due to the warranty!

I had originally purchased a Sony BDP-BX370 in November of 2023. By February of 2024 it was no longer functioning. I couldn't turn it on, and when I managed to do it, all functions were frozen and I couldn't even open it It was graciously replaced by Sony with a BDP-S3700. Now (in November 0f 2024) it too has suffered the same fate: frozen and locked.

I bought this blue ray player 2 months ago. I really liked it and then it suddenly stopped working. It will not turn off unless I unplug it. When I plug it back in, the green power light comes on but it will not recognize the remote and shows no menu.
