Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII Digital Camera

In the Sonry camera RX-100 M7 box, there's a paper says that if we register, it will extend the product warranty from 1 year to 2 years, but after I registered the camera, the warranty webpage still shows only 1 year warranty, so apparently the paper in the product box lied to us. Sony needs to fix this, otherwise your reputation is going to be very bad in lying to customers!

I purchased this camera about 1 year ago and have been using it since. In December of last year, our family went to Italy for 2 weeks and I used the camera extensively. I really like the wide angle to telephoto range (24-200mm). I got some great photos and have posted to the photography forum I use online. Many compliments. I highly recommend this camera.

Great small size for travel. Full manual control. USB battery charger option for on the go. Great pictures quality and resolution. Pro camera in a small package. Require small hand is the only downside.

Great compact with high quality results. Easy to navigate and customize to shoot as you want. The pop-up viewfinder is so helpful for framing and shooting in the sun.

Had it about a week. Still trying to decide. It was quite expensive and my biggest concern is the technology of it. The camera was released in 2019 so it is six years old. To me that seems a bit dated, but having said that it is still quite a popular camera amongst the vloggers. I just cannot believe something better has not come along in the last six years. I like the 24-200 (35mm) optical zoom. Great range for a tiny cam. I do notice that there is a bit of noise in the files at anything over 1600 ISO. So I don't think this camera is the answer for low light photography. Video looks good but it is at 30 fps. 60 would be better, but that is not an easy find on these smaller cameras. Focus seems good, relatively quick. While it is a nice tiny size, it can be a bit awkward in handling due to the same. Will give it another week to decide if it is the camera for me. As I mentioned it was quite pricey and am trying to decide if it holds that much value for me. I should mention again it still seems to be a camera in demand. I did search multiple sites to find one that was in stock. As an aside, I have seen other people complain that the battery life is not long. Not surprised as the batteries are quite small. So if you purchase this camera, back up battery spares are nearly required. I should also add, I am 40 year pro and keep up with the latest in pro gear. I generally use high end Nikon cameras and lenses. So my expectations are likely higher than most people considering this purchase.

It is working properly. Unfortunately it is too small and the contacts are difficult to reach.

Love the images, but so far as I can tell the camera does not Bluetooth pair with IEM for geotagging.

Not happy as I registered but the 2x warranty was not given. Not cool.

Purchased a new camera, received used and repackaged instead.
