Awesome picture quality. Google interface works great. I'm still tweaking the sound so as to hear dialogue a bit better, but this really isn't that big a problem. I wish Sony would place the TV speakers so they point in the direction of the viewer instead of straight down. All in all, for the price, I'm thrilled.
I purchased the SONY TV because my SAMSUNG TV started having technical problems with start-up after 1 year and 3 months. After purchasing the SONY TV, I truly love the picture quality, sound and easy set-up with all the additional features that are standard for this TV. I enjoy watching all the movies and sports games with a true to life color and picture. My family now comes over for all the football games and enjoys the picture quality of this TV. It is amazing color and picture, it's like you are there watching events live. The apps that are loaded on this TV are awesome, so many movies, shows, events to watch. I am so HAPPY with the SONY Purchase and plan to buy another 65 or 75" TV soon for another room in my home. Thank you for the high definition quality in this TV.
I had purchased to lower price tv recently and soon realized that after multiple visits from the cable technician that the color shift had nothing to do with the cable service and everything to do with the tv. I returned it and upgraded to the Sony. It was worth every penny. The resolution, definition and depth are far superior.
This versatile beauty offers a crystal clear display, great google search feature, and vibrant video streaming. As if that's not reason enough to go grab one of these colossally capable TV's, then the amazingly affordable price tag is the icing on the cake. Oh, I almost forgot, the user friendly remote makes navigating the web, streaming movies, and adjusting the features of this virtual candy for the eyes child's play. Two ergonomically positioned thumbs up.
This TV replaced one that was not 4K so the picture looks obviously better. I would say almost too good, I can now see all the imperfections in people that were not apparent before. The local news anchors must hate it. The sound quality of this set is not as good as the one that it replaced, a 10 year old Toshiba. This TV has no control buttons on it so if you lose the remote you are screwed. The remote lacks some the buttons that I miss and has some that are not really necessary, like six buttons for various streaming services that could be accessed without the buttons on the remote. Like what the heck is Crunchyroll? I assume Sony is being paid put these buttons on the remote. But I think I could navigate to Netflix without a special button for it, whereas a fast forward button would be of some use without having to navigate to it. TVs are more and more being designed for streaming. I'm just glad they still put an antenna connection on this one.
This was delivered about 4 days after I ordered it and I was surprised it's a Bravia. It didn't say that on the ad. The color, sharpness, tone, Sony still has everything it was known for in the 80s and 90s. I'm so delighted. It actually replaces my old Sony Wega that's been with me for the last 20 years. That tv really served me well. I always trusted Sony. Always magnificent.
Bought this model mainly because the smart function was power by Google TV and of the perceived brand quality. Having had wonderful experience with my Brava as our main TV for more than 10 yrs really wanted a Sony. Great display but had major trouble with the WiFi connection that led to a return. The second unit experience same proble. Major issue getting it connected only to have the connection dropped requiring a reinstall. Both units same issue. This is in a room where the router is very near by and nothing else has connection issues. Remedy was to connect using my LAN Ethernet connection. Works great.
Most significant issue is the remote lags and appears to have issues with Google TV where it crashes on a consistent basis. Not sure why remote does not have a number pad either. Fact that the table top stand is so cheap does not allow for any tilt of the TV for setup ..
The image is great, very happy with the image., having problems with sound synchronisation. The whole WiFi connection is great, the apps are OK, the menu system could be improved, simplified, better designed. Sound is out of sync with image, very very bad experience.watching TV where is sound does not follow the lips. Need to pause video for 3 seconds in order to resync the sound. If it was not for the sound problems i would rate this TV 5 Stars out of 5 but the sound issue is not fun. Thinking of returning it.
Well, I got my TV it was late getting here when we turned it on the top right hand corner is all cloudy with black lines coming down through it I always buy from you guys because I love Sony products but this was pretty disappointing. I don't have the time or patience to send it back so I guess I'll deal with what I have. Plus I don't wanna go more weeks without a TV. Thank you.
