Sony MDR-EX14AP Wired In-ear Earbud Headphones with Microphone, Black

Lightweight, good sound, and decent microphone quality. My biggest gripe is that the left side of these earbuds goes out for me pretty predictably within 3-6 months, so they are regularly replaced. Other than that, no complaints. They fit comfortably and have multiple sets of sizers so that if one size does not work, you can go up or down a size. The length of the cord is also very reasonable - not too short to where you can't put your phone or music player in your pocket and go for a run, but not too long as to where it's unwieldy or getting caught on everything. These have been my go-to for the past few years or so when I have needed plug-in earbuds but didn't want to go for huge headphones. The price has gone up pretty dramatically over the past year - from around $8 to now almost $15 - but they're worth a grab if you aren't too hard on your earbuds or need a cheaper wired pair for something like a flight or an e-meeting. Definitely recommend grabbing them when they're on sale as like I stated before, they break pretty regularly (have to replace a couple times a year or so).

These wired earbuds are inexpensive, durable, comfortable and sound-worthy for both audio and your speech. They can be worn during a hot, sweaty workout without the worry of ruining expensive Bluetooth wireless earbuds. They come with a variety of silicone ear cones for a perfect fit or replacement. I always keep a couple of backups on hand to make sure I have a pair where ever I go.

The slightest movement creates static distortions. Very disappointed in Sony. Things certainly ain't what they used to be. I realize that you can't expect much out of a $15 pair of earbuds but I assumed that they were at least decent. Return started, will never again trust Sony brand products since poor quality is apparently their standard nowadays. Fits ears fairly well and wearing them is comfortable, but sound quality isn't sharp and sounds like I'm in a dome. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

This is my second pair, and both have had the right earbud go almost completely dead. The first pair lasted almost a year, but the second pair lost sound on the right after only a couple of months. Otherwise the sound is good when it's working.

Needed some wired earbuds in a pinch. They kind of broke quickly and did not hold up to standards of what normally Walmart has and due to being after 90 days I was unable to return it so not my greatest investment.

A review of the Sony MDR-EX14AP corded headphones that comes w/ three different sizes of hybrid silicone rubber earbuds, an in-line mic with a multi-function button on its backside (to click to answer or hang up calls, and do other functions while listening to music on an iPad or older iPhone) located a few inches down from the left earbud, an L-shaped 3.5 mm plug that plugs into the headphone jacks on these 3 devices: my laptop, iPad (6th generation), and iPhone 6s. Smallest earbuds worked best for me because I have small ear canal openings…they block out other sounds quite well, and stay snuggly in my ear canal opening without feeling irritating. I haven't tested the mic by making a phone call yet, but other reviewers say it works well. I did test the earphone volume, and it gets plenty loud when I up the volume on my iPad or iPhone! To test the sound quality, I listened to these songs: A Mad Russian's Christmas by Trans Siberian Orchestra, to test the bass and treble quality and sound of a multi-instrument song; Guns and Ships from Hamilton An American Musical, to test clarity of rapid fire vocalization and multi-part vocal harmonization; and Money by Pink Floyd to test the left—right “speaker” balance. These tested quite well for an inexpensive set of stereo headphones, not too far off from a much higher quality and much more expensive set of corded headphones I own. These were reasonably priced and will work nicely when I don't have my wireless headphones charged or simply wish to watch videos or listen to music in bed where I'd be concerned about accidentally falling asleep and losing my AirPods in a mess of pillows and blankets. This review was done three days after purchase, so I don't know how well these headphones will hold up, but fingers crossed that I'll get a good year's use out of them!

I just bought 2 more pairs to replace the pair I accidentally cut while gardening.... For people who don't want to use Bluetooth headphones, these are a GREAT value! They form a great seal in the ear, keep out a lot of outside sound....I wear them while mowing, and also in airplanes... sometimes they're better than earplugs! They also have decent all-around sound quality! The box includes a couple different sizes of earbud covers, too. My trivial wish is that they had more of a "handle"/base to each earpiece so that it's easier to put them on or remove. But they're still well worth the price!

These ear buds provide an excellent response to bass sounds that many other versions do not. I also like the fact they are surprisingly resistant to damaging the wires. I have accidentally shut the car door on mine many times and the wires did not break. In fact I've owned a few pairs of this model and their older variant over the years and every time they needed replacing it was because I had dropped them on the ground without noticing and they were run over by the car. That is something no other ear buds I've owned over the past 20 years can claim.

for less than $10 in a time where everything is getting expensive these are fantastic. Tiny buds, great fit and simple design. perfect cable length and can handle more bass and volume than you would expect, but it does take a pretty powerful outputband tuned eq to hear the full potential. they sound crazy good for the price and they look nice. if you are familiar with wired akg ear buds from Samsung's, these sound very similar, but produce better bass. highly reccomended and I might even buy a white pair just to have around.

I've used Sony earphones for many years, and these are the BEST earphones to get!! They last long, good sound quality, LOUD, BASS BOOSTED, etc! They're just perfect earphones to block out sound or to just jam to music! PS: If your sony earphones sound "cheap" or "muffled' thats a defect. Get a new pair!!!
