Put this head unit in my wife's new SUV. She wanted Bluetooth and a CD player so I chose this. Also she always complains about .y truck not wanting to connect to her phone when she drives it. This unit accepts 2 phones and is very easy to switch back and forth. She likes all the display color options and lives the sound and ease of use
I'm very happy with this product. It was easy to install. It came quickly was very well. Priced sounds great.
I have bought 5 of these radios now and everyone has worked perfectly. Great sound, easy to install.
Couldn't ask for a better product!
I like the look and the sound of the radio.
Bluetooth works good clear clean sound sounds amazing has good power sony is great
Grnice little unit
This unit functions as described and is easy to set up and use. The sound quality is excellent even through he stock speakers. I am changing out the stock speaker in favor of new sony speakers.
This radio has excellent sound quality, and is able to pickup more stations than my old radio. Its also nice to be able to chance the display colors. My only complaints are with the control interface, more specifically the volume/selection nob/button. It is too easy to accidentally bump the nob, thus entering the menus, when trying to adjust the volume. It would have been better to have a different button for selecting, and used pushing the volume button to mute/unmute the radio. I am not sure if my radio is bad or I keep bumping the above mentioned menu button, my radio seems to occasionally switch into demo mode. It doesn't seem to be losing power, as the radio doesn't cut out or lose stations. I am just driving down the road, listening to the radio, when it's screen starts flashing and changing collars. When I stop, I have to go back into the menus and disable demo mode. Again, I might me accidentally changing it while adjusting the volume. Other than that, this a great radio.
This was the THIRD Sony MEX; 2 from another vendor; NONE of the 3 worked; this one had NO OUTPUT; Sony supt said "exchange" but after I had them transfer me to an escalation team, they wanted to take up to 3 weeks for exchange. However, they had none of these units left (2019 model). This vendor did SPLENDIDLY and I'm satisfied with quick return %26 refund. Got a different brand, a true pioneer in the industry.
