Still going strong

Dee June 27, 2025

Use these daily for hours watching movies on my tablet. Even laying on my side with one side pressed into a pillow. Still solid after 3 years. Do not understand the reviews saying the pics show a mic. Same ad and pic from when I bought them . They do not show a mic. Very comfortable and the folding design makes them less likely to break.

Amazing headphones

TimS January 15, 2015

If you're after great value, great quality, and impressive sound, these headphones are for you! I purchased the Sony MDR-ZX110NC headphones, and have been impressed since the day I bought them. Even with noise cancellation active, sound is still crystal clear, and has just the right amount of bass. I am very impressed with these headphones!

Outstanding quality and value!

ChiGirl76 June 12, 2016

My beau and I purchased a pair of these headphones for our recent trip to Europe, and it was the best investment ever! The noise-cancellation feature makes SUCH a difference when listening to music or watching a film! They're lightweight and portable, and very comfortable to wear. We recommend them highly!

Product performed excellent

CSJacobs October 20, 2016

I purchased these headphones to wear during a recent 3 1/2 hour flight and they made the trip very comfortable for me. The noise canceling feature is the reason I got them and they provided a much more peaceful ride rather than getting off plane with a headache from the constant roar of engines.

Fine sound, bad cushion, surprising accessibility

Walter May 26, 2025

I wanted cheap, okay-sounding, and long-lasting over-ear headphones. These fit the bill (we'll see about longevity). As expected with Sony, these sound good to my non-audiophile ears. They get very loud if your volume is at 100%. Sound leakage is usual for over-hear headphones, so, more leaky than earphones as expected. These headphones have no mic and no buttons. That's actually desirable for me, since I sometimes use these with an adapter that doesn't like headphones with mics. My only complaint is the ear cushions. They're pretty thin, and they're covered in a very thin and wrinkly skin that feels like a plastic bag sticking to my ears. Extra points to Sony for adding an accessibility feature — there's a raised dot exclusively above the left earcup so I can tell it apart just by feel. I'm sighted but even I feel for that raised dot instead of reading the ‘L' and ‘R' labels.

Very good for the price

CannedReply August 22, 2016

These headphones work very well, and are an excellent value in regard to performance versus price. The noise cancelling function works well and the overall sound quality is very good. The only reason I did not rate them at five stars is because the headband is unpadded and can be rather uncomfortable after prolonged wearing, pressing the top of one's head. If I adjust the fit to be looser, then they do not feel very secure. I imagine I'll come up with some sort of pad to rectify this minor irritant, so overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Pretty Good

Kdawg May 25, 2016

Price for quality ratio is great. The noise cancelling works well, but I don't have anything to compare it to. I got these to block out office noise and that they do. Sound quality is good. I wish I had read to specs further to see a AAA battery is required for the noise cancelling feature because I don't like having to buy batteries. Overall I am satisfied for the price. Also they are very comfortable.

Nice sounding and affordable headphones

D99007 December 15, 2025

Nice sounding and affordable headphones. They are a bit small. I wish the head band is a bit bigger or made of metal so I can adjust is better to my head. Hence only 4 stars.

Ear piece peeling

Nettles August 23, 2025

Purchased 2 pairs a little over a month ago for use at school. We used on pair on a recent trip and the ear piece is already coming apart. Disappointed but outside the return window and hope the warranty covers replacement.

Very poor product

Midaszone August 12, 2025

Terrible headphones. Entry level, yes, but that's still no excuse for a great company like Sony to put out a garbage product like this on the market. These are quite frankly the worst headphones I've ever owned. And Walmart described them as 'over-the-ear' but they are not. They are 'on-the-ear'. Furthermore, they do not have a mic. Very poor product. Don't buy.
