Sony NW-E394 Walkman MP3 Player (8GB, Red) with Hard Carrying Case

Our son is very happy with this. The sound quality is excellent. He has it with him always except in school. As usual, Sony does not disappoint.

The sony walkman was very easy to add music to. Very enjoyable to listen to and easy to operate

Easy intuitive to use. Screen is readable in sunlight, loaded all my music with no problem. Recommended.

Best little MP3 player ever!

Small, compact mp3 player, just what i wanted.

The Sony "NW-E394 Audio Player" is just that, an audio player. The player does a fine job of playing a variety of audio files, although I only tested it with MP3's. It has a nice interface good contrast screen for reading file information play position (time), album art and battery condition. Files are easily loaded via USB port as the device shows up as an external disk. The Music is sorted by meta-data in the files accessible by album, artist, genre Playlist or folder. You can divide files by folders but must use the folder option to take advantage, otherwise all files are seen by the other options no matter where they are. The FM is very good and will auto scan presets. All "radio receiver" device I've seen, needs earphone/speaker attached to be an antenna Sony requires that also. The little display can be used to view photos, it works, but not too practical, because of the size. I haven't used it so much because I listen to audio books and podcasts. One thing this device does not do is remember the play position of multiple files, only the current file. This is a feature of "fruit" company and also a memory stick/card company! I would recommend for people who don't need this feature.
