Sony Playstation 4 Gold Wireless Stereo Headset, CECHYA-0083

Used to using an ordinary usb headset and never thought my game play would improve with Sony's stereo headset. Being able to "hear", exactly where every sound is coming from has improved my reaction time and knowing where to look gives me so far a lot better gaming experience.

Bought these for my husband and I must say the best thing about this headset is I can sleep at night well except if he gets too involved in the game and starts yelling. Due to his work shift he plays when he gets off which is late. Although that is not the reason for the purchase it's a bonus. He loves them especially when he played Destiny beta and was able to hear his opponents getting closer. I must give myself a pat on the back for a job well done. He's happy which makes me happy.

The mic works great. At first I had it on backwards and people couldn't hear me very well but once I figured that out they have no problems hearing me. The option to adjust between voice and chat is a must have. Also the surround sound is great, I can tell exactly where mobs are around me when wearing these.

I purchased this product to go along with last of us remastered and it's perfect the base ,sound true surround sound . I had some turtle beach before I bought the ps4 gold headset. Now turtle beach sits in a box in my closet. Also when u turn your head the sound follows to the way u are turning it's hard to explain

I ordered these for my husband for Father's Day. He is in love with them. The sound quality is great and the internal mic works better than his old headphones with the external mic. Plus they cancel out the surrounding sound when he is gaming, good for him, not so good for me when I am trying to get his attention. Overall the best pair of headphones I have bought so far.

We live in a wooded, secluded area on several acres of land. My children learned to enjoy their own company and occasionally have friends over. My son found a great bit of fun with Gameboy, Nintendo DS, then Game Cube, Wii, and now Play Station. This headset allows him and his friends to communicate and play without disturbing out entire household with their hooting, hollering, and excitement over the different games they play. If there is a downside to this item I would have to say that you must be very careful when unplugging the USB drive so not to bend it up or down as this part is very fragile and must be taken straight out with ease, otherwise this is a very fine piece of equipment.

This is a great set of headphones. It really helps to keep all the sound and music from the game from waking others at night, which is when I play as I'm on a night shift schedule. Easy to set up with the PS4. The battery holds a charge for about as long as a wireless DS4 controller. The headset charges quickly as well. Those who have had problems with them breaking either have unusually large heads or are not taking care to remove the headset properly. Anything is going to break if you don't treat it well. Definitely worth the $100 price tag if you need a good headset made specially for PS4.

Everything worked out as planned to pick it up. Got home and opened the box. The headphones were broke at the hinge on the right side and the ear piece was off on the left. Thankful I pitched them at Walmart and I was able to drive to another location and exchange them as the first store was out of stock. New headset is operable and sounds amazing with the PS4! Should have bought this when I had a PS3.

Sound could be a little fuller. However, I believe for this price this is a great product. Had a little issue with the USB dongle losing connection to the headset but moved my router and no more problems. Short charging cable.

I love the slick, simple design of the headset. They are easy for me to adjust and it sounds great until i walk into my hallway. But my issue is with the inside hinges. The plastic covering them tends to break after a month or so of usage. With my first set, I thought it was my infant son who broke the plastic because i saw him handling the headset before i saw the damage. But when i got my replacement pair, i made sure he didn't touch them and the same problem occurred. The plastic gets cracked, then breaks off the hinges, causing the speaker to hang by the wire. After that, good luck trying to use the headset comfortably. Thank god i got insurance on them both times, but twice is enough for me to learn my lesson. I love Sony, but i can't trust this product. Not durable enough.
