The Platium headphones are better than the Gold..... the 3D audio set's them apart.... really great sound... very crisp highs & mids .... clear low bass.... I love them

Everything about these headphones were great. It has tons of practicality so you can adjust from party audio and game audio straight from your headphones. You'll never feel that you need more volume because they can be as loud as anyone would ever want.

Bought the PS4 Wireless Platinum Headset from local Walmart store. The headset comes with a USB dongle which is inserted in the Playstation 4 in order to work. The USB dongle also works on a computer as well. You can download the "Headset Companion App" from the Playstation store on your PS4. Which then can be used to fine tune how you want the headset to sound. You can save upto 2 presets on the headset. The headset sounds awesome and worth it if you can find it under a C-note.

The volume buttons are slower to go up and down than the previous model the ps gold when they beep but they feel good rested on your head. Feels more durable than the gold, no plastic on the headband so definitely an upgrade. The placement for the buttons are awkward but once you get used to it it's good to go. The charging cable they give you is longer than before as well. Would buy them again just for the sound app that you can install on the ps4. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Bought for my wife so we could game together. Have set myself. Excellent sound quality. Only reason did not give them 5 stars Is the range. Only about a 5-10 foot range before they start to cut out or crackle. The Gold series had better range, but would crack the plastic on the headband, which would catch your hair. I think Sony could do better!

Audio quality from the headphones is amazing! The microphone is good for in-game chat and that's about it. You can also use this with your computer or anything else that has a usb port or 3.5mm port for when it needs charging. Comes with headphones, usb port receiver, usb to usb-mini cord for charging, and 3.5mm cord.

I love the sound quality and the virtual surround sound / 3D audio feature. I used this constantly. I would prefer the headset be capable of higher volume and were made stronger to more easily prevent breaking. b But overall, they're really great. I enjoy them daily.
