Received as a Christmas gift, the sound is excellent, especially consider the small size. My big old tuner, Telefunken tape recorder, and huge box speakers are now totally obsolete. This can all fit in my lap, computer and speaker while listening to endless music on Youtube.
Works great and sounds great! When you use the app to change sound to “dynamic” it has the fullness of a much more expensive speaker.
I bought the Sony speaker over 6 years ago and it still sounds 95% as good as when I purchased it. High quality speaker!
I've had this speaker for awhile now, and by far it blows my past purchases out of the water! The clarity of sound is outstanding. The bass at times can be overwhelming. But overall if you're looking for a speaker to take with you to the gym or to a party, this is the wireless speaker for you!
Had two of these for a weeks now and love them. It is a pain in the $#% to get them to play in the double speaker mode and even harder to to get them in the stereo mode (my only reason for 4 stars verses 5). Once your there they are super, unless you move them too far apart. The batteries are fine except I only got 5 1/2 to 6 horus out of them at about a loudness level of 2/3rds.
Bought this unit because a friend had one and I liked the sound. He warned me the battery was junk but I figured he just got a bad one. Well so did I. The sad part is once the battery is dead you can't even play it plugged in until the battery is charged...which takes hours and then dies quickly. Fix the battery issue and it's a great product.
They should not be able to put 12 hours battery life on the box I cant even get 5 hours and that's not on max and not with extra bass on just standard mode. So sony what's the deal here????? Why is there so many people with this same problem? Like I dont even use the lights at all ever so what's killing the battery so hard?? The first version of this speaker lasted double the battery life.
I bout this less than two weeks ago and i havent been able to use it to its full potential due to poor charging capability
Bought this as a gift for my wife last year and now it does hold a charge. Downloaded the APP and charged it with 1.5 amp charger. The APP says it's charged but then stops playing after two to three songs. The voice says ‘recharge'. Tried the same process many times and same result.
I received the speaker as a gift last Christmas and it's been only 5 months and already the battery life is completely dead. I constantly have to plug it in order to use it. That beats the purpose of having a portable speaker. Also, due to the battery life the extra bass doesn't even work anymore either.
