Sony WH-1000XM5/B Wireless Industry Leading Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headphones (Renewed)

I bought these headphones five years ago and they are unparalleled in quality and design. The sound quality is rich and true. The app is awesome. Well worth the money. The noise cancelling and battery life is remarkable especially on long flights.

I love these. They're so comfortable, great sound quality, and noise canceling is top notch. I love these new colors and shape, comparable to beats and apple but for much less. Just excellent value. The buttons take some getting used to, but after rereading the instructions I've gotten them figured out. I've worn them on a 4 hour flight and was comfortable the entire time. I like the pass through sound, being able to toggle back and forth is great. They're easy to connect between my work laptop, my phone, and my personal devices. Great sound quality of my voice when on the phone or on zoom calls, no tin sound quality or anything, no echo.

I'm a huge fan of Sony's noise cancelling technology and I have been since the XM3 line. I just purchased the WH-1000XM5 headphones and was blown away immediately after putting them on my head. I didn't think that the WH-1000XM4 could be improved on but Sony seems to never fail at surprises and incredible audio/sound technology. Wow.... Definitely worth the upgrade if you've had the XM4's since launch as I have. I've tried the competition (you know who directly) and I can always find something that's just not refined enough or a fit that's not just comfortable enough. Brilliant piece of wireless audio tech Sony!

I accidentally broke 2 pairs of the XM4's but with the build quality of the XM5, I feel safer taking this on and off without breaking the metal/plastic band holding the headphones together. Sound quality is on another level but noice canceling could be a bit better compared to the Air Pods Max.

I bought this a month ago. amazing headphone but I felt like it heated up fast in couple of hours. Ended up going with Bose

I've almost given up! I'm very disappointed with the the utter lack of basic functionality: Microsoft Teams and this headset are not inspiring confidence.

HINGE DEFECT. This products was taken care for extremely well for 11 months and broke 10 days before warranty ended. Sony still refused to fix. This is a known issue with the headphones and this company refuses to own up to their mistake and do the right thing.

My son received these headphones (WH-1000XM5 as a gift last Xmas from his grandmother and within a year, the plastic connection broke from simple use. Despite having a “manufacturer warranty” , Sony has no interest in replacing or compensating him for a clearly subpar product. My daughter has the same headphones and the charging port melted. Yes - melted. So there is a trend here of poorly designed and supported product by Sony and based on this, I will never buy any Sony products due to the fact that the company doesn't stand behind their products. I gave my son my Sennheiser headphones and he is very happy with them. Much better headphones. So from one tech-heavy family to another - Don't buy Sony headphones!!!

I got these headphones less than a year ago and the hinges have snapped out of place on both sides of the headphones. Initially i glued the hinge back into place the first time it happened and now it had happened on the other side. Extremely upset as I paid full price and anytime i speak with anyone about repairs I am told that it does not fall under the warranty. I recommend you save yourself the time and money and invest in other headphones by other companies because this design flaw appears to be common with Sony headphones. I originally enjoyed the sound quality of the project and was certain that the headphones were the ones for me but now that this has happened to both sides and I find it it has happened to many others it makes me question my overall purchase

I bought these 6 months ago and absolutely loved them. That is until I had an issue and cannot get any assistance. One side is not working and there is not non-bot assistance anywhere.
