Sony XSR69 6x9" 3-Way Speakers NEW

I replaced four stock (cardboard) 6x9s from my 2021 RAM with these and let me warn you, at first I wanted to yank them out and return them. They sounded tinny, bass was worse than what was in there originally and the treble was too high due to the tweeters. I decided to give it some time to let them break in and fiddled with the sound controls a bit. Day by day they started sounding better as they broke in. About a week in I think the process was complete and now they sound awesome. It could be that my head unit has good power but honestly after finding the right balance these things sound outstanding. I've had multiple systems over the years and these honestly sound and feel like there's a decent if smaller subwoofer in the truck. So if you get these and you're not immediately pleased with the sound give them some time to soften up and break in. I've got a hunch that a few of the bad reviews on here probably didn't go through the process. You absolutely can't beat the upgrade for the price!

box was damaged and had tape on it to hold together i suspect it was a returned item screws and clips were missing and inside packaging was tore up speakers appear to be fine luckily the 6x9 speaker boxes i purchased separately had screw to install speakers
