Amazing results best investment

I have used the Soozier rowing machine twice since it arrived; as a rowing machine it works. That being said there are a few things that should be noted: 1. The only owners manual-really information on how to put the machine together, was in Spanish. Google can supply English versions 2. The timer works but the stroke count is totally inaccurate, who knows about the other information. 3. The strap attached to the rowing bar isn't centered in the hole in the machine-consequently the strap has worn and cut a hole to accommodate itself- The strap pulley is off center 4. The resistance, when filled with water to the 3rd line (max), is less than I expected-you just have to row harder and faster 5. When the box arrived there were probably a cup full of tiny ball bearings scattered in the box. I don't think that they are ball bearings because they are of different sizes-but you may want to open the box outside of the house . Shipping speed and information was quick and accurate Keeping in mind that this Soozier rowing machine is very reasonably price I suppose the above might be expected.

I ordered this rowing machine because it was a good price and it is able to be folded for smaller footprint to take up less space in my small apartment. I was a bit nervous because I could not find any reviews for this item before purchasing, so I am going to write a review for other potential purchasers. I am going to start with the negatives 1. The assembly instruction was not in English. The manual I received had an "EN" printed on it but all of the words were in German or French. I do not read those languages so the written instruction was useless. The manual did have pictures and diagrams so I was able to piece together how to assemble the machine thru process of elimination. If I was not experienced in IKEA I likely would have been completely lost. 2. As I was assembling I had a situation where some of the drilled holes appeared to not completely line up. I got my Dremel ready in case I needed to shave the metal some to fix this, but before I did that I disassembled a connecting part which then allowed the holes to line up correctly. I had this problem because the order of assembling these pieces was likely incorrect in the pictures on the instructions. 3. After I put the rower together, I sat on it in order to make sure where I wanted to place it would allow me full range of motion. I did this before adding any water to the reservior so I could easily move it if I needed to. This thing is wobbly! The back foot of the rower likely should either be a bit wider or heavier. After I added water it was less wobbly but still more movement than I liked. I may place some weights on the base before I use it for a serious workout. Some may think that is may be because my IKEA instruction reading was not up to par, I cannot disprove this but I had no left over screws after assembling it and I checked all of the connections and none were shaky on their own so I think it is an issue of stability in the actual design. 4. Filling the reservoir with water could be easier. The hole for the water reservoir is not in a convenient place, it is on the side of the the machine so you cannot just grab a funnel and pour water into it. This thing does appear to come with a siphon which may work, but after taking a look at it I just used a little water pump I had to pump water into it. Now positives 1. It is cheap 2. It has a small footprint and you can easily fold it in half so it takes up less space when not in use 3. It is a water rower, some may like that over the magnetic rowers I saw when I was shopping around 4. All tools/pieces needed for assembly were included. Several allen wrenches with phillips screw ends on them. 5. Even with the foldable design the rower does allow full range of motion for me, an average height lady. 6. The rowing seat does have some cushion, it is not just a piece of hard plastic though it probably would not hurt to supplement it with extra padding if needed.

The instructions were in Spanish and the pictures were not great. It was very hard to put together. But a good product once it’s built HaHa.
