Great Value Emergency Food
These emergency food bars are a fantastic addition to any bug out bag or emergency kit. The shortbread cookie flavor is surprisingly good for a survival ration and easy to eat without feeling overtly dry or chalky. It's packed with calories to keep energy up during tough situations and requires zero prep, which is a huge plus. The packaging is sturdy and clearly meant for long-term storage. The expiration dates are in the year 2031. Great value, reliable and definitely gives peace of mind having it on hand - just in case!

Edible, will keep you alive.
Edible, fills the belly, you would find these in lifeboats, rescue crew and vehicles, and places like that. It will keep you alive, but it's not something you want to have to eat for weeks. I keep them in my emergency food bucket, in a house. I don't know how well they would store in a vehicle subjected to all different temperatures, especially heat.
