I got this because I have the Soul Calibur Game Cube version of the game and enjoy it. I like this new way, tho there are some places on the levels where we got "lost" as to how we should get through them. I have only played it for about an hour so far, some on the 2 player Versus mode with my husband and also on the single player mode, we took turns when it got difficult! I would highly recommend getting a Wireless Nunchuk because you have to make many fast movements to keep your character fighting and there were a few times the Nunchuk cord either hit me in the face or got wrapped around the controller. :) Overall, definitely worth the money, more fun than the original version, and definitely gets you off the sofa for some "fighting action", enjoy!
I got this product in a 2 for 30 dollar bundle, this game's good for what i paid for it. The game's full of good twists, good storyline, the graphics are pretty good, the camera turns kinda slowly, which is a disadvantage toward the overall gameplay. Another flaw i didnt like about this game is that the targetting system throws me off, i try fighting a boss and my character moves so slowly because of the targetting system.
Though it's not like the XBOX versions, and you can't make your own character, it does have a semi-good story line. Your arms get tired easily after a few fights and switching between characters and foes takes longer than normal. PvP (aka two player mode) is a little strange but it's not just fighting against each other which is good. Overall it's really good but you can get tired easily.
i didnt think i was going to like this once i ordered it but after recieving it and starting playing it,its not a bad game at all yes i would recommend it
I bought this in a 2 for $30 bundle, nice graphics, works great on the Wii.
This is a great game for teens and the fact that they have to move alot is great . My teenage son was very pleased with the graphics and detail in the game.
Man, it was a combo. You may find guess stars too so keep looking.
I thought the product was fine i just wanted more selection w/ characters...but then again I havent finished the game yet so there could be more still to come
This is a great game. The kids I have at my home love the game. The only complaint I have is that when your fighting someone and you defeat them, when you turn around to find someone else to fight the camera doesn't catch up with you very quickly.
I have owned many previous incarnations of soulcaliber, and this one is by far the worst. It might be better on a different platform, but for wii, it stinks. Avoid at all costs
