Sound+Sleep SE Sleep Sound Machine

Volume control is great and far exceeds any other noise machine. Great variety of sound. I bought this for my autistic son who is a very light sleeper. I even change the type of noise frequently, and it seems to keep him calmer if he wakes up in the middle of the night. His average amount of sleep has increased since I started to use this sound machine. My daughter has already tried to borrow it. I will probably get her one for Christmas. This is one instance when you actually get what you pay for.

This is absolutely amazing, no need for a cold fan on in the winter! I love the brown noise and all the choices plus continuous use! Worth the money 💰:)

Easy setup and great for sleeping! Because we live in an area with harsh winters, it was too cold to run the fan at night. This too care of the problem. Lots of sound options to choose.

Bought this 6 months ago for my kids, and works great for a white noise machine. The heart beat crackles sometimes, but I hardly use that setting.

Sounds realistic, good set of sounds to select from, non-looping is very important, well made. If it lasts, it is worth every cent!

Had to return it due to electronic issues

With all the selections I knew I could find one to put %26 keep me to sleep. Ocean: was great until you could hear a dog barking on the beach. Rainfall: was great until it slowed %26 started loudly dripping on a tin roof. Fan: was great until you could hear the wobble like the fans I have in my house, that I don't use for sleep because of the wobble. Meadows: crickets %26 frogs were great until an owl %26 morning dove started doing their thing. Brown Noise: great until it started having issues/extra sounds. Shall I go on? The Speaker could be upgraded, it sounded tinny. I don't think professional puts these sound tracks together. Sounded like a highschooler in his basement.

Don't buy it. Stopped working after 12 months

We live in a quiet rural area and I bought this unit for its claimed sleep-inducing benefits and to help with my tinnitus. Of the five sounds that one would expect to be soothing (brook, ocean, rainfall, meadow and waterfalls), not many came even close. At low volume levels most selections produce an irritating static-like electronic noise that does more to keep one awake than to soothe. Meadow was the worst for this. My wife heard it as a high-pitched sound that interfered with her sleep, so I did not dare use a higher volume. Last night I had a sleepless night and set it to rainfall on setting three. I presume if I could have used it at a higher volume that might overcome the unidirectional aspect of having rainfall and thunder emanating only from right next to my bed, but as-is that was more bothering than helpful. Over two weeks of intermittent use I have not experienced any benefit and am returning it today.
