Keeps my mind sharp! A great value.
Used to take these separately as part of my heart health regiment. Been trying to find products that add some of my supplements together just to cut down on the number of things I have to purchase. This product is the only one I have found with the same potency as taKing them separately...
To the one star reviewer that could not decipher the 650 mg. The label clearly shows 500 mg Acetyl L-Carnitine plus 150 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid.
I've been taking Acetyl L-Carnitine & Alpha Lipoic Acid combo for over a year as a protection for my brain health. It protects the health of the cells and turns on the grouth factor, which is especially important after 50.
This product may be the secret of my youthful appearance! It helps in many ways, as in arresting free radicals. It is especially helpful to have these 2 important factors together.
I like this combination in one tablet. It is supposed to help with mental clarity. I am 83 and have no problem with memory or brain fog when I take these. When I did not take them, I noticed a bit of a slippage in my memory.
Been taking this product over 15 years. And I’m 84 years old.....needless to say....I endorse this product!!
Years ago I read an article by a couple of Berkeley scientists who did some studies on mice using this product. They found that it helped the mice's brains in various ways. Does it work on humans? Don't know, but my brain (I am 68) seems to be holding up pretty well; whether this supplement is a factor is up in the air. However, the Swanson product is fairly reasonable for price, and it is easy to take. I'd love to give a testimonial saying it works really well, but I don't know, maybe. I just call it a gambling cheap insurance plan. I am fairly sure the stuff doesn't hurt you, so worst case scenario is I am just wasting a few dollars each month. Beats smoking, drinking, or drugs.
Might be good if it was ever in stock. Had it been marked "out of stock" I wouldn't have ordered it.
Why not PLAINLY state the amount of each ingredient? 650 of what? If I'm smart enough to know I would like to take this supplement, I'm smart enough NOT to chose one that is not forthright on amount of ingredient.
