This is an essential product to take and we do and have been for 3 months. We will continue taking this product because we know when we buy through Swanson we buy quality products for a fair price. We buy through Swanson exclusively because we trust their quality.

Be advised that this is an uncoated caplet, and leaves a really bitter taste in the mouth. Other than that, it is a good product. The claim of decaffeination now appears on the product label. The antioxident it contains is highly desirable, and if it were in a coated caplet, it would be a total winner.

I'm not going to pretend to know much about supplements but I find this extract the best and continue to order it because it's decaffeinated and much cheaper for the same quality of product.

I don't have any problem swallowing horse pills, but these tabs are rough, mildly hard for me to swallow, and immediately taste strongly and unpleasantly of raw green tea. I don't rate things poorly often or easily, but if you care much about strong, bitter flavors, I recommend against this option. I'm stubborn, so I'll probably go through this batch, but I'd happily pay more for a better experience. I usually buy Swanson's products, and this reminds me why that's a great idea.

I just got off the phone to Source Naturals. According to Source Naturals detailed product information, this is NOT a decaffeinated product. The 500 mg tab conatins up to 50 mg caffeine. Nowhere on the Source Naturals web site or on the container itself does it advertise to be decaffeinated.
