If you like the scent of roses and want to treat yourself to a luxurious shower or bath, this is the bar of soap to buy. It is/was my favorite gift to a favorite friend. She lived on a tight budget and the rose soap made her feel pampered and loved.

The scent is intoxicating and Has a luxurious feel.

Makes me feel pampered when I use it. : ) smells great. Makes whole bathroom smell good!

I was really hoping for some robust rose aromatherapy. There's some rose there but it's faint, so maybe the climbing variety just doesn't have the same genes as the rose bushes.

I'm sure the soap is fine but the rose fragrance is not for me.

The soap lathers well and does clean effectively, but the scent was a big drawback. The fragrance was much stronger than expected, had an artificial quality, and didn't fade during use. Unfortunately, it also made my skin itchy after washing, which made it uncomfortable to continue using. While it may work for others, anyone with sensitive skin or sensitivity to strong fragrances will likely want to avoid this one.
