My husband assembled it in a few hours last night (Christmas Eve). It's just as we expected! The perfect first "big bed" for our almost 4 year old. It looks great! It's only been 1 day, so hopefully it holds up!
Excellent, easy to put together, me and my daughter did it, all pieces were perfect, the instructions very easy to follow, it looks great and she loved it!
Went together easily, very pretty. Seems solid. The storage bins are great for a 12 year-oldd who wants to be organized, but not sure how to begin. She makes her bed now, finally. WalMart got it to us 5 days sooner than promised...\n
Really cute! Easy to put together, BUT allot of pieces. Definitely needs two people.
Fits my room perfectly, no regrets about it.
Exactly what i expected !
Its stylish, solid and practical.
This thing is heavy! Let me start by if your a single woman or just not very strong, you will not even get it in the house! Soo many pieces! This took 2 people maybe 45 mins to do with a screw gun. If alone or using a screwdriver, expect to spend hours. It's nice. Solid. Looks decent. My only complaint being the base is much wider than the mattress!
At first I loved the bed because all the extra storage it has, however you should know it is REALLY HARD TO PUT together. I had to pay a person to assemble it and even the handy man had trouble. Also the base planks don't cover all the area, I'm showing in the picture the gap. I can't return such a heavy thing but I would not recommend this bed.
I wanted to love this bed, but it hasn't held up at all. .I purchased it for my 10 yr old daughter. The design is great however after only a year it's falling apart and she hasn't been rough with it. The white is flaking off so there's big brown patches in it now. Also when my daughter wasn't feeling well she spilt a tiny bit of water on it where the extra wood is because a twin mattress doesn't go all the way to the sides. Even though we attacked it with towels to get it as dry as we could it started bubbling up really fast and now has a huge water mark because there is no type of sealant on it at all. I know you aren't suppose to get wood wet, but it's a kids bed. Every bed I have purchased in the past never had this problem. So after a year I am moving on and buying something else. Also I didn't notice until I saw someone else's review. It states "included storage bin" however no bins were included. I've been trying to find some that would fit with no luck. So that's nice to know now. That part wasn't that big of a deal because we were using the compartments as "stables" for all her horses. So yeah I would just go with something else unless you are sure you won't spill something ever or you never rub the wood causing all the white to start peeling off. (which is hard since again the mattress doesn't go to the edges like in the photos and there a good 1 or more space of wood around the mattress) It's peeling at the lips of the compartments as well from sliding things in and out. The only reason this is getting 2 stars is because the design is great. To bad it just wasn't made to last very long. I know it wasn't something overly expensive made to last forever, but I figured I would get more then a year out of it seeing as her last bed also purchased for around the same price lasted 6 years and maybe longer, but we just didn't want one so high (loft bed) anymore.
