Certainly worth the amazing price
This chest is definitely worth the money. It's sleek, modern and beautiful to look at. In terms of purchasing this item, - Price is a great value - It does take about 2-3 hours to put together with two people - I would say it's even bigger than you think - Metal drawer glides are a GREAT value for 160 - NOTE- If you plan to put these on carpet, you must hook it to the wall or put something very very heavy on the top to keep it immobile

Fantastic dresser!
I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews but I'm so happy I purchased it anyway! This is a really nice dresser! It did come with a small gash on the top but all I had to do was call South Shore and they sent a free replacement that showed up within a couple days! Easy to assemble, drawers glide nicely and looks great. I saw some reviews complaining of the wood, it's engineered wood, if you want solid wood you'll be spending significantly more.

New Dresser
Just finished putting it together. The directions were easy to follow, but it definitely required 2 people to assemble. So far so good. It is very nice. My only complaint is it feels a bit unstable and wobbly empty. I believe I am going to remove the piece that was placed on the bottom to see if it helps to stabilize the dresser some.

Beautiful but shipping is not careful
Overall it's a great looking dresser. I was sad to see it arrived with dings and chips. Most of them were small enough or on the inside of the panels, so I didn't bother shipping it back for an exchange, but still when you pay over $200 you expect it to not have damage. The packaging looked like it fell off a few trucks. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, but have your own tools handy because it didn't come with a screw driver. It does look nice and all the drawers slide with ease.

The measurements in the specs. of this product are not right. The dresser is only 45 in. tall. Do not buy this if you need to store very much at all in the drawers as they have very flimsy drawer bottoms. I guess when you pay under $200 for a dresser you can't expect much, but I do expect the measurements to be right.

Drawers will not stay in and assembly was ridiculous. One board was missing the pre drilled holes!
