Easy to put together.

Cons: A) no assembly directions with product. I have experience assembling furniture, so it wasn't a deal for me, but others may need a little guidance. B) All of the viewable surfaces looked great. The backside was bare wood/pressboard. I painted all the bare surfaces black. Pros: A) Looks fantastic!!! You'll notice in the picture its on a twin size bed. It was difficult to find a twin size headboard that I liked. I purchased this in a full-size model, then cut it down to twin-size. That's how much I like the look of this. B) Assembly was straightforward and easy (even without directions...) C) It comes with a small black marker to color in any small scuffs or dings.

I purchased this headboard in the full size for my teen son's bedroom. The color is as depicted in photos and it went together easy. it looks great and is a simple classic design that will last for years to come. The price is very fair and budget friendly for what you get. I attached it to an 18 inch high metal frame, and it's still tall enough to make a statement in the room. I would definitely purchase again!

I like the headboard. I ordered the rustic oak and it is not as dark as the picture shows. It is very light and has a washed out look. I'm wondering if it is a mistake and I was delivered the light colored one by accident. My boyfriend put it together and attached the headboard with bolts before I got home. Not happy with the color. If it is true to color I should have ordered the darker one but I feel I was delivered the light one by mistake. Not happy.

The assembly instructions were pathetic. They were very hard to follow, but I finally got it together after a few extra holes that were unnecessary.

Came in the day after it was promised, which was understandable, since it was the height of the Christmas season. Easy to assemble and to attach to the platform-style metal frame that we have. Looks nice and the perfect height for what we needed. I only gave it four stars instead of five because it is just a little ""wobbly"" for my husband's use. He is in assistant living and will probably use it to pull himself up in his bed (which, I know, it was NOT intended for this purpose, but I was hoping that it could help him) I will probably have my son add an additional board to the back to strengthen it.

Price is appropriate. The back is rough texture so curtains catch on the back. Also no bolts provided to attach to the bed frame so these had to be purchased separately.

The headboard was broken on the edges as well as the slats and there were no screws or instructions.

Not happy with the product. As we took it out of the box, a piece broke in half. Would not recommend .
