Needed to store 20 stuffed animals for next year's Christmas shopping at Deep Well. These spacesaver bags filled the bill.
I love these bags. I’ve used a different brand before and they were very expensive. I don’t know what the price for these bags will be yet. But these actually have the pump with it! I was so pleasantly surprised about that. Everything you need is included. I’m going to go through some blankets that I don’t use all year and use these bags for that. There are 6 bags in different sizes. You also get the clips to close the bag and you get the pump. I know I’ll be getting more of these in the future. I highly recommend this product.
I have always wanted to try these bags and I'm sorry I didn't try them sooner! These bags are truly impressive with the amount they can hold and the size they shrink down to once you vacuum the air out. I was able to get a storage tub of baby clothes and blankets into one of the large bags. These would be ideal for travel because they do save space, just keep in mind it doesn't save on the weight. The pump that comes with this set works beautifully! I found that the pump actually screws onto the valve on the bag to ensure a tight fit when vacuuming the air out. Another pro of these bags is that they protect the contents inside from water or bugs getting inside preserving the contents.
Directions are printed on every bag, along with size and dimensions. Directions were very easy to follow. Used the large bag for an oversized blanket, and was able to still fit 2 regular blankets with it. The hand pump is functional, but using a vacuum is the only way to ensure the bag will be as compressed as possible. Using the hand pump leaves the storage bag more flexible than the vacuum, there are benefits of both compression methods. The zipper clips are good or those who may have mobility issues, otherwise pressing close with fingers work just as well. Reopening is easy, open the zipper and let the bag naturally decompress before pulling item out.
I ordered a 10x variety size pack but received only the large size. I contacted the seller and received an immediate response, on a Saturday evening I might add. They, apologized, issued a refund, and promised to look into the mistake further. I won't hesitate to order from this seller in the future.
i am only giving it a 5 because we've only used the little bags once. The small bags held so many baby clothes, etc, stuffed into 2 of them, then the 2 bags were smashed, literally, into a priority mailing box, and shipped all the way to Texas. They were perfect when they arrived.
Great.\n Sizes easy to use and plenty of room inside the bag. However, 2 of the bags I received had trouble staying inflated, my son realized There was a tiny split,. because it did take a couple days to deflate
They do what they're supposed to do, but you still have to find a place to put them when they're filled. It would be nice if they were flatter after removing the air but they aren't, and the bags are stiff and “bumpy” with kind of sharp edges. So there's no way to stack them. They end up taking up more room than they should.
It took 2 weeks to receive the space saver bags. I ordered the 10 pack large bags for over $45, and I received the 6 pack combo pack with 3 small, 2 med, and 2 jumbo. I reached out to the seller to maybe just keep the bags (as I needed them to complete my project) at the appropriate price. needless to say, days later, without a response, I decided to return the bags.
This package of 10 XL storage bags seemed like exactly what I needed at first until I started to try sealing the bags. 4 out of 10 bags had holes in them. That's almost 50% of the bags to be used. Not happy at all with this product. The worst part is, Walmart.com will not refund my money. What a waste of both time and money.
