These sport pads are really high quality. They are definitely well made and will protect you while skateboarding, hoverboarding, scooting or whatever other activities you would need them for. It is sometimes hard to find sport pads that fit properly because my kids are tall and built bigger than some kids, but these pads even fit me and I am a plus size adult. They can either slip onto your knees and elbows or they have adjustable straps in case they are too tight that way. The wrist guards are the most important in my opinion and these fit nicely and offer great protection. They also look sleek and not as bulky as some pads look. I highly recommend for keeping yourself or your kid safe while skating etc.
These pads saved my knees and elbows after a pretty bad rollerblading accident I had. They stayed on during my fall. Only bad thing is they get a little uncomfortable after a while of wearing them... especially if its a warm day. They made my knees and elbows kind of sweaty. But they hold up and do their job with protecting me.
I bought a set of pads on a different site and they were so flimsy and slid right down my daughters arm. These are really great at adjusting down to a smaller size with Velcro. They work well for my 9 year old and she is and very thin (she wears size 6x clothes). They tighten nicely and seem super sturdy. She uses for roller skating but hasn't had any big falls yet so I can't comment on that, but they feel really tough so I'm not concerned.
My son has recently started exploring everything with wheels! So having this set has been wonderful it's so perfect for him wether he's on his bike or testing his skills on the skateboard I know I can count on this set to protect him. If your kids are into anything with wheels please pick this up it's great he said it's very comfortable unlike some other gear we've tried. I highly recommend this to keep those knees and elbows safe.
My kids are very active. They are always playing some kind of sport so I have to make sure they are protected. These worked out really well. In addition to the very sturdy straps, this set has a stretchy material behind the pad that holds them in place sort of like a knee pad for volleyball does. They have comfortable foam and are as comfortable as protective gear can be. My daughter loves her skateboard and fell several times while wearing these with no injuries to her knees or elbows.
This full set of protective gear is comfortable and very durable. The material used on the underside of each pad is soft and comfortable. These are lightweight and easy to put on and pull of. This set includes knee and elbow pads and the wrist guards.
The Pro-Tec Spade multi sport pad set fits our daughter well. The Velcro is strong, the protective hard plastic seems sturdy. We are hoping she will never have a fall hard enough to truly test these out, but they give us peace of mind that she will be protected if that ever occurs .
These Spade by Pro-Tec Junior Pad Set Combo is pretty good. We recently got a hoverboard for my three kids and this product was a must-have for this kind of a dangerous toy. My children's ages are nine, seven, and five respectively. The wrist support seems ideal to prevent brakes when falling and I never even thought of protecting that area of the body but it is a really smart idea. The set also includes elbow pads and knee pads. The knee pads were easy to unvelcrow the top and slip on over the knee. They fit pretty well on my nine year old. All three products, the knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist bands, were all too large for my five year old. My seven year old is bigger than my nine year old so I can't speak to that age with regard to fit. My children have all only ever worn a helmet before and did not seem to like being restricted more with the knee, elbow, and wrist pads. Unfortunately, all were removed before two minutes were up and since we were still just trying the hoverboard inside I didn't make them put it all back on. I didn't do much research for alternate products so there might be some that are less restrictive but I think after my kids wear these for a while it won't be such an issue.
As you can see from the description I purchased the pad set combo for ages 8 but what I received was ages 14 . The 8 ( which is what I ordered)was 17.99 and the one that they sent was 29.99. This set was purchased for a less fortunate 8 year old child and now it's too late to purchase the correct set due to the deadline for submitting it to the charity for the child.
You shipped me wrong size %26 I can't reach anyone to correct this.
