Do not purchase this!! we bought this for a christmas present and went to assemble it and its missing half of the parts. rediculous that we have to buy another one because we didnt open it within the return policy. A company should stand behond their products and Walmart will not do anything, atleast amazon backs their products they sell online.

I saw that many of the bad reviews were due to parts missing. I took the chance anyways thinking if some of blots were missing I would just go to the hardware store and get replacements. But to my surprise, nothing was missing. Pretty easy to put together. With some help from my wife it took about an hour and a half. Seems pretty well made and height adjustment works smoothly. I can't say anything about how long it will last (since I just received it) but it appears to be very sturdy. I am very pleased with my purchase and looking forward to playing with my kids.

After reading reviews of missing items, I was hesitant. But, I still went through with the purchase. I received the item and the box was banged up pretty good, but everything was there. It's a good hoop for the price I paid. I'm happy with it. Took about two hours to set up.

Isn't as bad as reviews. Box did come a bit damaged but nothing to complain about. Came with everything nothing missing. 2 person assembly and isn't too bad. I did have to add washers to the rim assembly and I did add some lock washers to some of the assembly. Overall decent goal and my daughter loves it.

need 2 or 3 people to put it together! which was ok BUT now one of the screws will not fit!!! it will go in one side but not come out the other end ??? no we have to backtrack and see if we put the wrong screw in somewhere but i dont think so since there are 3 long screws and they are the same length

Do not buy! Box came all beat up and missing pieces. I returned and got a replacement and was still all beat up and bolts won't fit!! How are we supposed to build this!! And returning with box all ripped will be a hassle. Bad Xmas gift experience. My kids were excited

This was purchased as a gift from Santa. Our experience with this product has been terrible. Firstly- It wasn't Walmarts fault that FedEx delivered the first one busted up and broken. They accepted the broken one back and sent a replacement. The replacement is now here and came without all of the pieces necessary to put it together and with no net. We now have a pile of metal to put under the tree instead of the goal they have been asking for. I'm beyond upset at this point.

Hillarious...how so many bad reviews are exactly what happened here...Box came beat up...every single screw needed to put this together is missing...this is a joke. Where is your quality control? I will not be repurchasing due to all of the bad reviews this product got and will be taking my business to target. Hit or miss. I hope you get every part needed to put this together if you are purchasing.

I purchased this basketball hoop December 14 for my kids for Christmas, on Christmas Eve my brother went to go put it together and out of 100 parts that come in the box we only received nine, literally nine parts the backboard, the rim, the net, three skinny poles, the base, the base cap, and a sticker. I have emailed the company and so far no response. Imagine my dismay on Christmas Eve when I quickly realize that my kids' Christmas present was ruined. Then realizing that there was nothing I could do. I am so upset. How could they not check the box before they mailed it to me? There was five or six kits that came with it and a couple of other assembly kits that I did not receive any of them. Yes, we looked inside all the pools there was nothing there no wheels either. I really hope that they fix this soon or at least contact me back, not a happy buyer. I will update my review once This has been sorted out. :-(

Did not come with all parts, had to call Spalding to have them ship the missing parts to put together. Bought for sons bday party, still do not have the parts
