We cannot be happier for this quality loop. Looks very beautiful. We followed exactly each step. We used plastic sleeve and found no problem at all. It may take at least two adults to install the column back into the sleeve since it is very very heavy once it was filled with concrete. But well worth it. We end up of using 7 bags of 80 pounds concrete from Homedepot in total instead of 12 bags as suggested by the manual.

if you follow the instructions your good one thing id advise lose the sleeve. its work getting the poles together you gone need like 5 bags of cement. i love the results.

For myself and grandson easy to adjust nice extension

First I stayed home to sign for shipment 2 days, FedEx just dropped it off in my driveway and left, so I wasted 2 days for nothing. The shipment box was in horrible conditions, holes , corners beat off, strap broken . I opened the box and the backboard was broken on two corners. A day before arrival the same system went on sale for 120dollars less than I paid, I called and never got an answer for a rate change...but with this said I called a local Wal-Mart store and they did refund my money. I will never order another large item from Wal-Mart. 2days waiting to sign for shipment then not signing, another hour repackaging and another hour taking back to the store. Good looking basketball goal. Looked plenty strong.

Went with the acrylic backboard so as not to worry about a glass backboard shattering. The pole went together perfectly and without any effort. I sprayed a little quicklube on the pole before bouncing the sections together (I did use a 2' by 2' piece of plywood on the ground). The sections went together perfectly. I did not use the ground sleeve and just cemented the pole into the ground. I used rebar to make a platform for the pole to rest on at the proper height while filling the hole with cement. Except for hanging the backboard the installation can be a one person job. It might be helpful to have an extra hand while leveling the pole but it's not really needed. Hanging the backboard will take at least two people. Tip: use tape on the pole seams before adding concrete into the pole. Tape it really well, several wraps. Even then some concrete will leak through. I picked up some spray paint and touched up the pole afterwards, looks great. Also filled the pole with concrete after it had set up in the hole. There is very little shake to the backboard and the rim but no more than on a similar glass backboard models. Overall the system is very solid. I will warn you that the shipping package will almost certainly be torn up as the shipping box is way to lightweight for the contents. Ours looked like it had been dropped from a moving train. Make sure all the pieces are there and that there is no damage to the contents. We were all good on the contents but I can see where that has been a legitimate issue for others. Four stars not five for the shipping container and the lax instructions. The kids love it and have been playing non-stop. It looks great, plays great and is well worth the money.

Overall good hoop. Price a bit high. Shipping was terrible. It arrived two days later than scheduled delivery. Package itself was really beaten. Box was torn apart with parts sticking out.

Hardest thing ever to put together! Although it looks nice, cannot give it more than three stars due to installation woes. Do not recommend

Received in a busted up box, as I expected, backboard was cracked. Now I have to figure out how to return
