Having carried totes to craft fairs I decided to purchase this platform truck. Made my journey with totes so much easier. Although my husband may have not secured the screws tight enough because after the second trip I started noticing parts on the ground and realized a wheel was about to come loose. No worries, husband arrived with screwdriver and all was secured for me when I packed up and needed to trolley everything back to my truck. Great price !!
A very inexpensive way to get something that is easy to store and very easy to use. You can fold it and put it in the car if you are moving something with your car that is heavy.
This is a very handy cart. I use it primarily for transporting potting soil and plants, and it has saved my back. I am 5'6", so the height of the handle works for me. It folds and is easy to store in my utility room.
I used this cart to move art displays three blocks from the display tent to the car. I loaded on one folding four foot table, two folding chairs, a large tote containing smaller display props, a half-size cement block, and a cloth bag. I successfully made it down the hill and across the street with no problem. It was easy to assemble -- just screw in the four wheels. The handle is a little low for me -- it was shorter than a grocery cart handle. However, that is a minor issue compared with how well it worked. In addition, it folds flat enough to slide easily under a bed for storage. I had the platform truck shipped for free to the local Walmart. It arrived on time as promised and was really easy to pick up.
Its great for transporting boxes and other heavy hard to transport items. It also, takes next to non in storage space. The only complaint if any is the handle is a little low for me, so I have to lean a little, but I'm about 5'11 in height. I hope this helps,
I love it!! Product came near fully assembled, and was easy to put on the wheels, and start to use. I really have no complaint, except for the two wheels or "casters" that do not move. One side is fixed, and the other is not, and the side that does not swivel, does make it a bit hard to turn sometimes...same concept as a grocery cart...if you have ever had to pick up one end and slide it over manually...otherwise, great buy. I am going to look into trying to replace the other two (fixed) casters, if not too costly.
We actually bought this to be used as a part of my son's Harry Potter costume for Halloween and for that purpose it was perfect. It has taken quite a beating from my boys and you'd never notice. We also wheeled it around the neighborhood and an outdoor museum and it did wheel smoothly in both cases. I saw complaints of it being difficult to fold but it did not seem especially difficult for my husband or myself. The one downside based on our experience would be the short handle height for an adult. My four year old of average height could easily push the cart and see over the handle so for an adult I imagine the handle would be too short.
My only issue is that I thought was a little larger. It did help with my yard sale so it was ok just not as large as I hope for and there fore unable to move larger amount of boxes from garage to yard at one time.
We haven't used it yet but it seems sturdy. It rolls nice and we didn't have any problems putting the wheels on. It took a bit of pressure to push on the bar that allows it to fold up - I tried with bare feet after we put it together and finally had to put shoes on to make it fold down. It stores nicely. Looking forward to using it.
It is very hard to raise and lower the handle. When you attempt to raise the handle the platform tries to raise up too. When you lower the handle you have to use both legs so that the platform does not try to come up too. I bought the wrong product, which the corrrect one should have been just the plain old dolly.
