Reasonable priced scissors worked nicely.
The Sparco Straight Rubber Handle Scissors are lightweight and the blades sharp enough to handle everyday jobs nicely. The holes designed for thumb and fingers might be a little small for those with large hands and fingers, but I found a minor adjustment to my grip solved the probllem.

Not the fault of scissors but too small of handle for my arthritic hands. Daughter is enjoying them.

PAPER Scissors Only - Price is Right For This Use
I thought they would cut more than paper but this is all they are made for. It wouldn't even cut through the thin grey flexible plastic mailers my Rx's are mailed in. Forget cutting through cardboard and plastic packaging everything comes in. For paper scissors, they are great. I just wish they were more clear in their description that this is what you were getting.
