Spartacus: Vengeance (Blu-ray)

Spartacus: Vengeance is simply amazing! Although original Spartacus actor, Andy Whitfield is gone (and truly missed, R.I.P.), Liam McIntyre is an exceptional replacement. The Spartacus series continues to impress with non-stop action and twists and turns in the plot and story which at the end leaves you intrigued and wanting more. Bravo! Bravo!

Spartacus: Vengeance was good but not as good as the first season. Casting and writing were lacking. For example, the lady that replaced the original actress as Naevia did not complement Critux. She did not have the acting ability or screen presence of the original actress and was more like a fixture. Also, for slaves to put themselves back in a prison situation to rescue Critux's girlfriend (Naevia) was not realistic. I do not plan to purchase the final season because most of the original actors are gone and it has become obvious the series is on a downhill slide. Too bad because the first season was an epic spectacle.
