Special Kitty Clumping Clay Cat Litter, Fresh Scent, 45 lb Box, 1 Count

I have been using this for years and last 3 boxes I have gotten dust everywhere. Before it was small amounts of dust which was ok and now even when I scoop its huge cloud of dust every single time. So much that my hands get dusty after I’m finished. Will be switching to another brand.

i’ve been buying this litter for years, as until this box i’ve always been very pleased with the product. however, this box- well honestly- it just sucks!!!! the litter is VERY powdery, dusty, much closer to the consistency of table salt from the shaker, as opposed to course kosher salt! having powder like consistency litter quite bluntly sucks!!! the clumping factor’s different, the odor absorbency lacks, and my cats aren’t thrilled with the different consistency!!! honestly, i am not sure if i want to take a chance and buy another box. if i hadn’t been using this for years, just based off of this one particular box, i would think that walmart brand products just aren’t worth the money!!! however i know better- maybe- coz this box sucked- $15 wasted , as i had to buy other litter to mix in the litter box .

We rescued 4, 2 week old kittens 4 years ago, this is the only litter we ever used. It was great, tight clumping, almost no dust, kept odor down....just as advertised. Apparently, the formula has been changed, the last 4 or 5 times we've purchased, it is much courser of a blend, there is zero clumping, zero dust reduction, and zero odor control. I will not be buying this again.

I have been buying this cat litter for years and it was grea! Not anymore. Now something has changed. It's not the same formula. This litter is completely different. The dust is horrendous. It's causing issues with my cats %26 I. They're sneezing and im coughing. The dust has coated everything within the vicinity. Its absolutely horrific. It looks like the dollar store litter. Theres no scent anymore. Why change something that was a 5 star product? Sad 😔

this product has so much dist that I have to put a mask on to scoop or pour the litter. its not clumping very much. i buy 3 boxes a week. i have no other choice but to go to another store and get their brand. other people have complained with no response from yall that yall will fix the problem. i will not be for ed to pay higher pri es at walmart. if i have to pay higher prices i ll do it else where.

This used to be really great but when they went to the 45 lb box in 2026 the quality went extremely downhill. The last two boxes I've gotten have been nothing but a Dusty mess. it will not clump anymore. there are better options for a similar price with a lot less mess

I have used this for years and loved it. Switched from Tidy Cat as tidy cat was terrible about not clumping. Now, this just changed to 45lbs and must have changed manufacturers as even though the box still says 99% dust free, it is like dumping cornstarch in the cat box. The dust is so bad that it would destroy your and your cats lungs. It also doesn't clump well any longer. Very disappointed after years of using it.

I don't know what they did with the one they had in the past, but this one is horrible.. as soon as they urinate in the litterbox.. all you smell is ammonia.. I will not be buying this in the future.. it was great up until this month.. the price increased and the litter has changed for the worse, dont buy it if you want to smell urine all over your home. **very dissapointed**

Been using for years and they changed it. when you order the 40 pounds they send you the 45 pounds which is different. its all dust and clay, my cat wouldnt use it anymore. had to switch to arm and hammer double duty and she jumped right in. i tried ordering 3 times to get the 40 pound box i needed, finally i spoke with someone from Wal-Mart and was told they are doing away with the 40 pounds, so (the good one) do not order this. u will receive 45 pounds of dust and gravel your cat wont want to touch and can make them sick.

Walmart has changed how special kitty cat litter is made. It is no longer clumping even though it says it is. It is also the dustiest cat litter i have ever had. I used this litter for so many years. Great on them for changing it. Time to find something new i guess
