I used to think when it comes to commercial cat food price surely equates to quality. Right? Apparently in the world of dry commercial cat food, you would possibly be able to define the outstanding difference in products. More expensive DOES NOT equal better quality. It just means that a particular name brand thinks you are just dumb enough to fall for their above board pricing. This isn't hard. If your cat is on a veterinarian prescribed diet, then yes, you're gonna have to spend some money. Outside of that, you just want a nutritious food that won't harm your pet. Me too. I used to purchase only driskies dry food, but then when I ended up with several cats, I noticed they would go through a bag in no time. well, I can't afford that. So ai began buying Special Kitty. I noticed that my cats regulate themselves much better with this food . Bags last much longer, my cats are well fed, and thus far, there have been no medical disturbances. All my cats are healthy, playful, and very loving And I'm not spending a huge fortune to keep them fed. It's a good and safe purchase and I would recommend this cat food.

I always have rescue kitties. I originally ordered this as a way to save money. Once it got here, I noticed there are no artificial colors used. Artificial colors can affect cats kidneys. My newest tribe members are eating it heartily. Side note, I really like the newer bag., more sturdy than paper. Will continue buying it. Kitty approved😸

You always hear that cats like fish, it is their favorite. I have been feeding the kitties Seafood for years, until they started staring at the bowl and walking away. Figured that this food had a less than 50% chance. Well, I was very wrong. They went crazy for this food and now, they stare from the empty bowl right to me. They just want more. Who knew?

The bag is the best bang for the buck. Heads up the entire bag fits in a 5 gallon bucket for easy storage. Thats a Plus. The food chips are small for all sizes of cats. I dont feed it to indoor cats, Rather Commuinioty Cats. They seem to like it.

Only 1 of 4 Special Kitty varieties (Outdoor, Gourmet, Chicken/Turkey and Kitten) with Chicken Meal as FIRST ingredient. Other 3 = CORN 1st ingredient. After the last formula change, ferals refused the Outdoor variety but will eat the Chicken/Turkey variety. Cats are Obligate Carnivores (meat only taurine, vitamins and minerals). Corn and veggies are just cheap fillers. Any meat 'meal' is more nutrient dense, such as 'Chicken by-products meal'. Read ingredients! Plus, I despise the new packaging! No handholds. Cannot grip the slick plastic.

I have a monthly delivery for a 35lb bag of cat food for the last year or so. (I'm older and can't pick up the bag from the store 3x's to get it in my house.) different times to get it but now the last 2 or 3 months they cancel my order!!! Why? I get the rest of my order delivered but not the cat food. Very disappointed and will have to go elsewhere unless this gets resolved!

I tried this for my cats and it seems like I put Friskies or meow mix in front of them. They chose that instead of this cat food it's rather bland so I switched to Friskies and meow mix and nine lives. Those are the ones that they really like the most. they need to put more flavor into it, cause Cats are Finiky

Do NOT buy this food if you love your cats! I know it's a cheaper food. And I knew when buying this it wasn't going to have nutritional benefits or value that good higher priced foods might have. But I felt like it was still a food that could sustain my babies till I got back to work that they wouldn't starve-WRONG- at first they ate it. And then after a few weeks BOTH my cats started losing weight - not a little but a lot! With in about 2 months my one cat that weighed almost 16lb was down to 10.8lbs!! Then we noticed they would eat the dog food over trying to eat their own food and that's something they have never ever done!! This food is BAD for your cats! I felt horrible and I went tonight( after we put it all of it together %26 I talked to my vet) I went tonight %26 bought them higher quality kitten food to try to get their weight back up! And we had come to the plan that if in 4 weeks they start putting weight back on then we 100% know it was the food! - I will update review then.

This was my first time purchasing this cat food thought it might save me some money since I have seven barn cat, none of them would eat this, I had to throw it in trash. The raccoons and opossums wouldn't even eat it at night. Very dissatisfied with product.

Not even my feral cats will eat this. They sniff it, walk away, and wait for literally anything else. The ingredients are low‑quality, the smell is off, and it's clear this isn't something cats actually want to eat. If you care about your cats' health or just want them to eat their food, choose a better brand. This bag is a waste of money.
