Special Kitty Gourmet Formula Dry Cat Food, 16 lb

I have feral cats that have shown up at my home. They love the special kitty food. They are growing and filling out now. Couldn't have a better product that is cost efficient for me

Always out of stock at the first of the month but I eventually find it and buy a bag for three cats. I feed them canned food when they wake up, and they have this dried food to nibble on during the rest of the time. They like it! You can see from the pic of George that he's not starving on it... :)

I bought this for the feral cats out doors, I also buy them wet food, so I was trying to save some money. It is hard to tell if it's well liked, because if one cat doesn't finish, another will. Besides, they are just as finicky as a house cat, if it detests something, it won't eat it. Or, they have dental issues, but being feral, the cats won't let me close enough to tell.

We feed about a dozen stray cats. This is the least expensive dry cat food I can find, so it is what they get. They don't seem to particularly like it. My inside cats don't like it either- if I put some of this mixed in with their regular food, I will come back to find this carefully left behind. If you are on a budget, it is better than nothing.

Cats hate the "new and improved " formula. This flavor used to be their favorite now has different shape, texture and color. They didn't like the brown or blue bag varieties before so going to have to find another brand. It's not just one cat, have about a dozen cats on 5 acre property and none of them like it.. peacocks and chickens aren't even trying to sneak into feeding areas and get it.

After years of buying this seafood blend, they deceive us by changing the "seafood" blend to an ugly brown colored pellet. Same bag exactly. i just bought 2 bags of this trash 2 days ago, which is 70%23. My cats refuse to eat it!!! im livid, because that's $50 i wasted and can't afford to replace it. Why did you do this but keep the name and bag the same. How dare you!!!! It's fraud!!! I demand a refund so I can replace this garbage with a name brand that I know they love. i am furious that Walmart did this!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

I have ordered special Kitty for years my cats love it now I got my package today and the pieces used to have different colors for the different flavors now they're all one color cardboard color I put it down and none of my 12 cats inside would eat it not one I put some outside the outside kitties did not eat it I am so disappointed with Walmart if you're going to change a product you need to let your people know that by these products cuz if I'd have seen the picture of that I would not have bought it very disappointed I had to cook for my cats because I didn't have any more food to give them this was a last minute quick thing because I had to wait till Wednesday to get anything else I needed so we're going to be without food here for a few days I'm curious to see if the possums will eat it extremely unhappy and disappointed. I have put two pictures there one would it used to look like and what would it looks like now

first of all the bag i recieved is the discontinued formula not the new one that actually has alot better ingredients and no stupid dyes in it that is being advertised on the walmart website!! Not cool dont advertise the new one if thats not what you have in stock yet, just the fact that the old formula one is no longer bening produced then it should be taken off the shelf, ive worked in retail before and anything that gets discontinued gets marked down and if so long passes and there is still product then it gets destroyed not kept on the shelf sold for the same price!! i want the new formula one as it actually doesnt have horrible ingredients in it like this dyed one does, it actually has salmon meal and people think when something says chicken meal that its not meat when it is, its actually a good ingredient in pet food its better than just chicken or just salmon, the meals are better quality even, its by product that is no good, but either way your advertising something thats not even on the shelf or the correct product, isnt that along the lines of false advertisement?? Get this garbage discontinued food off your shelf and put the better improved one out, i want the new version of it. i do not feed my pets anything with dyes in it, dont even understand why companies put dyes in pet foods, pets dont give a crap what color their food is and most owners veer away from the dyed stuff these days!! very disappointed!!

Poor quality unappetizing my cats ignored it completely. They walked away from the plate, so this will not be part of our menu. It's cheap food. . This is the first time I bought it, but it was a mistake. I do not recommend this cat food. My cats wouldn't eat it. Stick to good quality kibble. For better health and nutrition.

I rescue cats and chose this for the price because I've always got at least 10 cats to feed. I had 2 cats that were unrelated have allergic reactions to it. They were itching so bad they broke the skin. They lost fur and lost weight. I treated them for fleas, tapeworms, and they had antibiotics thinking they were sick. One of the cats developed bad anxiety and couldn't relax. I thought it was an illness because all my other rescues were fine but antibiotics didn't help. Couldn't figure it out until I realized they got sick around when I switched to this brand. I realized it was this food and got rid of it and switched to my old Kitten Kaboodle brand and within days the two cats stopped itching and looked so much better. Now their hair is growing back and they are fine again. This food caused anxiety and behavioral changes, itching, fur loss, sores from scratching, and weight loss in the cats affected.
