Special Kitty Kitten Formula Dry Cat Food, 14 lb

I bought this for the wee ones to begin weaning them from Momma. I assumed I would have to introduce them to the food little by little and even then they may not eat it. How wrong I was. They began scarfing it down like pros, lol. Definitely recommend

This is the only cat food that my kitten will eat and he absolutely loves it! Would recommend for cat parents, especially multiple cats because it is less expensive, but has great quality. My kitten has grown crazy amounts since he has been on this food. At this point, I’m not sure how big he’s gonna get. He is not overweight. He is just growing taller and stronger, which is a challenge for me sometimes with the stronger part. 🤣

I feed several feral and stray cats. I have learned that they need the extra calories and protein during winter months. I mix this kitten food with Friskies dry food to make sure the outside cats are getting everything they need to help them survive the cold winter months. So far, everyone likes it. Is it the best quality, probably not but its what I can afford.

This cat food has helped us take care of many feral cats in our community. It is good quality, ingredients are the same as higher priced brands and the cats prefer it over other name brands. No longer has dies either so much better for cat’s health. The price vs bag size is amazing as well.

Perfect bite size for the little babies. They seem to love the taste and always come running great value for the large bag versus a small of any other brand.

While it's cheap, unfortunately it's like kitty fast-food. If you're not sensitive to smells go ahead and try it out. I used it the first month after adopting my kittens and OMG, when they used the litter, it smelled so bad I thought something was dying...I'm not veing dramatic, it was horrible, so much so the kids were looking for the source. I have this a backup for when they run out of their other dry %26 wet food, I would throw it out, but the kittens actually like it, it's the aftermath thats the problem.

It is a good value per pound. . However, there must have been a change in recipe as my cats and outdoor cats avoid eating it. I can mix it 50 50 with meow mix and this food will be left in bowls. letting raccoons finish it off. I used to buy this frequently like 2x/month, but sadly will not anymore. These companies think animals are stupid and will eat anything. I did notice sometime it comes in the woven plastic bag %26 sometimes in a pull strip all plastic bag. the formula in the plastic pull strip bag is the one cats hate. the woven type bag is obviously different formula and will get eaten. I rely on home delivery for this, so I can't choose which bag it comes in. so, not going to waste money anymore hoping. I've switched to Purina kitten food.

This was advertised as having no dyes, ********* cals, veggies and rosemary. Not at all what I received!! The bag I got has no veggies or rosemary, only ********* cals, and mostly very red pieces of food (red %2340!). The listed info was completely false. I never would have ordered this if I had known. I intentionally avoid dyes in all pet foods, and this is way too low cal. I immediately tried to return it, but the app keeps telling me there are technical issues being worked on, try again later...yeah, right, now I don't believe that either.

In the listing it shows a Brown colored kibble. But in reality this kibble is bright red loaded with artificial dyes that cause cancer and urinary tract infections in your cats. It makes no sense to me these companies that put artificial dyes in animals food the animals do not want or need or care what color their food is. Why are these companies trying to appease the human eye While sacrificing the health in longevity of the animals eating it? Speaks volumes about the companys lack of commitment to the health of the animals that they put a product out for. DO BETTER!!!

The bag I received had different ingredients than what is listed and has a ton of dyes including red40. Kibble was way too large and very dark red colors. Tiny kittens are not able to eat this. Not what I thought I was ordering. Product not as described. Waste of money on this purchase.
