Special Kitty Non-Clumping Unscented Natural Clay Litter, 40 lbs

I like the price and quality but did see some tracking out of the box. My 3 cats seem to like to throw litter amazingly high! This product was tracking a lot. It was worth the money but I am having some lung congestion that is going around right now so switched to a lower dust pine litter. RESEARCH CLAY DUST effect on the lungs before you decide what to use.

This is a non clumping litter, so it doesn't form tight easily scooped balls, but it has no odor as long as you keep it scooped and change the urine soaked parts out daily. Be sure to use a scoop to put into the litterbox. If you pour it directly, there is a lot of dust.

I am a professional "Critter Sitter" and this is the brand that I recommend to my clients both for quality and value for your money. One thing people don't understand about clumping cat litters is that they need "depth" in order to clump the urine for easy removal (and not sticking to the sides of the box). Use this litter with a 8-12 inch deep (preferrably stainless steel) and your life will be soooo much easier.

This works as well as the more expensive brand and now that things are getting more expensive I have had to make less expensive choices when shoppinf for my family. The only thing I have found with this product is that is does cause a little more dust in the air.

This was a good deal for the price and since new kitties can't use the clumping kind this is what we chose. However, if I had a complaint, it would be the dust! I actually used a mask when dumping this into pan after having a coughing fit the first time.

I originally started using this about 10 years ago because it claimed to be low dust. Extremely important to me and my cat. I have COPD and other issues. However I have noticed lately that the dust that blows up when I pour in the litter is awful. I pour it slow and only about 2 inches above so it shouldn't billow up with dust

It's a decent product for the price, but do not expect superb quality. I noticed that it does not last as long as other products with similar weight and clumping control. My cat did not seem to like the scent (unscented), but it does get the job done for a lower price compared to other brands.

this the only litter I use because it's a great clumping litter and keeps the smell down. but the past 2 boxes I have received the plastic bag the litter is supposed to be in is in the bottom of the box or missing completely and the litter is loose. so when it fell over in the car it was a mess......

Pros: Special Kitty Scoopable Tight Clumping Cat litter, Fragrance Free, 14lb: Controls the odor as well as can be expected, clumps well and is free of irritating fragrance. The weight of the individual jugs is manageable for a healthy person. Cons: This order arrived with the bottoms of both boxes, each containing 3 of the 14lb jugs, tattered from storage or shipping issues. It seems the boxes were not handled gently enough to protect the kitty litter from being jostled around to the point of turning a portion of the litter into dust, which made the whole order unbearable to use in the auto litter box we had recently purchased. We have only purchased this brand from Walmart and it seems to be a little on the dusty side if bought at the store, but not near as dusty as having it shipped. I will not make that decision again.

Well this was our go to litter and our cat loved it until they changed the formula this year. It is one of the dustiest litters I have ever seen. Our whole house was covered in white dust after pouring it into the litter box. It looked like we stood up with cooking flour in our hands or chalk and clapped our hands all over. It also tracks everywhere when our cat uses the box. When she jumps in to use the bathroom you can also see clouds of dust. We use air purifiers in our home and all of our filters had to be changed after using this litter for one week. They were caked in clay dust. We will not be purchasing again.
