This is a non clumping litter, so it doesn't form tight easily scooped balls, but it has no odor as long as you keep it scooped and change the urine soaked parts out daily. Be sure to use a scoop to put into the litterbox. If you pour it directly, there is a lot of dust.

I like the price and quality but did see some tracking out of the box. My 3 cats seem to like to throw litter amazingly high! This product was tracking a lot. It was worth the money but I am having some lung congestion that is going around right now so switched to a lower dust pine litter. RESEARCH CLAY DUST effect on the lungs before you decide what to use.

PRICE IS RIGHT. The first time a purchased this product l hoped it would function in my kitties robotic litter box.. Well it works very well. It clumps controls oder, dustless and easy clean up...I also purchase my kitty litter bags from Walmart.

I have four cats and one box. To my immense surprise, this is the best litter I have found for clumping and basic odor control, with a caveat on odor that I'll get to in a second.. It isn't dust free, but it's less dusty than the Barm and Mammer stuff and the Tide Kats, pours easier and clumps tighter. As far as odor goes, it's not tons better than the others, although it's definitely not worse. But a cheap box of baking soda mixed in makes a HUGE difference. Mix it in well so prevent more dust and the smell seals in. Not forever! It has a lifespan of about a week. But work it does, at least until I spring for one of those auto boxes.

This product is the most reasonably priced cat litter available and it is the reason why we buy it. However, it could be made better by the manufacturer to reduce the excessive amount of dust it produces. I've brought this to their attention before, but nothing has ever been done to IMPROVE the dust issue!

The litter clumps, keeps the smell down, I have two cats and they love to dig in it and move it around the box so I'm assuming they approve! The biggest problem is if I didn't have it delivered to my door, I would not have been able to get it to my second story apartment! I couldn't even move it down the hallway to the bathroom to fill the box! I had to take small bowls full to the box for the first fill before I could move it! Very heavy full container!!

It's a decent product for the price, but do not expect superb quality. I noticed that it does not last as long as other products with similar weight and clumping control. My cat did not seem to like the scent (unscented), but it does get the job done for a lower price compared to other brands.

Pros: Special Kitty Scoopable Tight Clumping Cat litter, Fragrance Free, 14lb: Controls the odor as well as can be expected, clumps well and is free of irritating fragrance. The weight of the individual jugs is manageable for a healthy person. Cons: This order arrived with the bottoms of both boxes, each containing 3 of the 14lb jugs, tattered from storage or shipping issues. It seems the boxes were not handled gently enough to protect the kitty litter from being jostled around to the point of turning a portion of the litter into dust, which made the whole order unbearable to use in the auto litter box we had recently purchased. We have only purchased this brand from Walmart and it seems to be a little on the dusty side if bought at the store, but not near as dusty as having it shipped. I will not make that decision again.

We have used this product for over 10 years, but it has more than doubled in less than 5 years. It used to be $4 pre/during COVID for 25 pounds, up to about 2022. Now it is almost $10 for 20 pounds. That is outrageous and IS A 200% INCREASE in about 3 years-ish. GROSS. You can buy Tidy Cat 20 lb for $6 at PetSmart- go there as this is an ultimate rip off of rip offs!!!! It is simple, basic, and nothing fancy- basically ROCKS.

Well this was our go to litter and our cat loved it until they changed the formula this year. It is one of the dustiest litters I have ever seen. Our whole house was covered in white dust after pouring it into the litter box. It looked like we stood up with cooking flour in our hands or chalk and clapped our hands all over. It also tracks everywhere when our cat uses the box. When she jumps in to use the bathroom you can also see clouds of dust. We use air purifiers in our home and all of our filters had to be changed after using this litter for one week. They were caked in clay dust. We will not be purchasing again.
