Owl says, this is a great supper food - any time of day. 1 paw up, 'cause that's all I can do.
Cats love it. Brookshire doesn't carry big cans. 12 ct. Best buy but always out of assorted at Lindale.
My cats (kittens), possums, and raccoons love this food!
From a choice between the free wet food (a more expensive brand not sold in big chain stores) from the rescue league and this, my kittens gobbled this up. It's no secret that the ingredients are not the best because of being by-products so I took off one star. Still, a can or two of this for 4 kittens is a lot cheaper than (6) 3oz cans.
My cats love this flavor wet food. Both my cats have digestive problems and this particular flavor and brand does not aggravate issues. The tuna flavor in this brand makes them throw up. I still give hard treats for cleaning teeth.
my cats liked this very much
The 13 oz cans of Special Kitty are usually good and the cats eat it OK. However I got some of the larger cans and I can put it out in the evenings for the cats and it will still be there in the morning. Even the opossums won't touch it and they will eat anything.
Wish they didn't limit to 2 cases. I wish they were in 22oz too
I have been buying this product, about 15-20 cans a week, for a long time. In the past three months, the cans have been extremely hard to open, with the pop tops coming off. I have then tried opening them with electric openers and handheld openers. They are extremely hard to open even with these. The electric opener leaves metal shavings that I am afraid may get into the food (even though I'm very careful). After going through 3 cans tonight with this problem, I've decided to no longer buy it.
My cat HATES this! Won't touch it! Where is the Tuna?
