This feels like a solid case that will protect my phone from accidentally drops at work. My only concern is two of the corners of starting to peel from taking it in and out of my pocket
I've been using spec for about the last six to seven years. They probably one of the best cases I've had. They're thinner and take up less space but provide plenty of grip and protection for the phone.
When I Have my Impacthero in my hands, it's softness and elegant design really gives me a lot of pleasure. I recommend it to anyone who likes good sensations. Walter
This is my second case from speck. Well made. Fits the pixels I've had well. Saved my phone from dings and glass breaks a couple of times already.
Love how it fits my phone. Just wished it came with a screen protector. Will definitely buy from them again.
Overall I like this case which is well made and fits my phone like a glove. I believe it gives good protection but it is slippery. The case needs ribs on the sides because with my dry hands I have to hold my phone firmly to keep from dropping it. On the plus side it is easy to pull the phone out of my pocket.
Price matches the quality and it feels solid. It's a bit thicker than I was hoping. What I didn't pay closer attention was it's a two tone color case, and when you're looking at the screen you only see the boring grey frame, not the purple color of the case. Overall, a very good case.
This is a good fit for the Pixel 6a. It provides the sturdy protection I've been used to from Speck. The side buttons are responsive. It works with a screen protector. The case is raise around the sides providing extra protection from the screen touching the surface when face down. This is the same for the rear camera. My only complaint is the soft touch texture doesn't provide a secure text for gripping the phone. It can be slippery in the hand. I'd prefer the Presidio if it came out for the phone.
One thing I don't like about this case vs the Speck case I had for my Pixel 3a is that this case does not have the rubbery lines on the outside of the plastic. These helped hold the phone with the hand as well as hold it in place on a surface. I was really hoping to find that exact same style for my new phone. I could tell this wasn't the exact same but wanted to try it anyway considering how much I liked the other one. I was hoping this case's smooth back would be a little rubberier than it looked, but it is not. It is pretty smooth/slippery and is also a fingerprint magnet. The fingerprints are the other reason I don't much care for it. I would've given my Pixel 3a case 5 stars. I will not buy this particular case again.
I purchased the ImpactHero for a just-on-the-market Google Pixel 6a. It's grip is significantly inferior to The Speck Presidio I had on my old Pixel 3a. I had to buff up the sides with 400 grit sandpaper to improve the grip.
