Speck iPhone 16 Pro Candyshell Grip with Magsafe in Black

The quality of this case is excellent overall. It has a nice feel, sufficient grip without being too grippy. It handles falls well and doesn't get scratched easily. I also like that it's not bulky yet offers plenty of protection including for the screen and camera lenses with a decent amount of lip protecting them. Definitely recommend especially if you can get on sale.

Just what I wanted

It's alright. The camera protection is terrible. Parts of the guard around the camera has already broken off. The corners are already showing wear as well. The magnets on the inside of the case came off and is stuck on my phone. Also the camera control button is a little hard to use with the case on. I like how it looks but it has terrible durability.

I've had Speck cases for my last 3 phones and was happy with all. I still miss the actual rubber on the older grip cases. The tapered camera protection is a fail for me on this one. Maybe tests show it's good but looking across from side I can see the edge of camera so it's not being protected. How I slide things in my pocket and sometimes keys get there it will get damaged. I really wanted to like it as all of mine have held up well. If that camera protection changes for future I may reconsider but this one is being returned. It fits solid for everything else.

I bought the white candyshell and while I didn't have any issues with the color or anything, I was swapping to another one of my cases and when I removed that other case I noticed a white MagSafe ring inside that case that was definitely not supposed to be there. I looked inside the Speck case and sure enough, the MagSafe ring in the candyshell had separated from the case and stuck to my phone. When I put the other case on the adhesive from the MagSafe ring damaged the suede liner and now my Speck case is useless and the other case has a damaged liner.

Poor customer service. Return address on package bounced back and was non-deliverable. Who puts a fake return address on a package? Shady business.
