The only way to protect an iPad!
This case is exactly what I was looking for to protect my iPad, especially the Apple Pencil holder! Speck is the only brand I trust as far as cases go for any of my Apple products.

Great case! Wouldn't buy any other.
Looks nice. Feels nice. Lightweight and tough. Easy to use. And the apple pen is secure and Im confident it won't fall out while on the go.

The best of the options
I just wish the pencil was a bit easier to remove. I find myself having to pry it out a little by the tip and I've heard the tips can be a little fragile so it makes me nervous. But, I was happy that the magnets are strong and it does actually stay closed. I'm still worried about the cover flying open if I were to drop it but that thankfully hasn't happened for me to report back on the performance.

It is fine, not great.
This item is pretty good. Far from great. The bulky pencil holder makes it too big to fit in the holders for my treadmill and elliptical. It doesn't feel as good of quality as the last iPad case I had from speck. The case is 5 years old and looks like new. This new doesn't feel like it'll hold up as well.
