Easy to put together

We used this for an indoor stair well. Once it was assembled it work great. There is a lot to assemble, but not really that hard. Mostly time consuming. Expect it to take about 2 hours to assemble and set up. Really is better as a two-person job. Instructions are only pictures. Take your time to figure them out. It is probably to assemble on a flat floor. keep screws loose so that youy can adjust thigs as you put into place. Then tighten them down. I am going to order more sets to use on outside walkway. *Be very careful upon installation. The holes you drill in your concrete must be exactly the correct depth. If drilled just a little to deep the bolts supplied will not work. When they bolts go down into the holes if to deep, there will not be enought bolt left to attach the hold down nuts to your hand rails. Once you've driven the bolt into your drilled holes they cannot be removed without major damage to your concrete. *This issue is not mentioned in their installation instructions. If this occurs, l guarantee you will be very unhappy. So, be very careful not to make this mistake.

These are gorgeous. Definitely need a couple people to assemble them. None of the parts are labeled so that’s a bit of a guessing game but thankfully most are self explanatory. I did end up getting longer screws for the bottom as I really wanted it to be stable and the screws out comes with aren’t super long. Otherwise it’s gorgeous and stable.

Sturdy and great looking, exactly what we needed! One star off because it was incredibly difficult to install on our cement steps. Any slight imperfections in our drilled holes (angle, depth) led to major frustrations matching the bolts up with the base plate and it ended up taking us many hours to install the first rail--we learned a lot the first time and the second one took about half the time. It took three of us working together to keep the rail held up, bolts held in place, and nuts set, fighting the whole time to keep the bolts from falling in too deep to grab. Our install still isn't perfect; one bolt finally had to be abandoned and we will still need to trim one bolt which is sitting too high to let the cover plate sit flush, but it is so sturdy and feels very secure. That said, everyone loves the finished product and we do plan to buy another set for another area.

The concrete anchors that come with it are weak and useless. We used them to install the left side railing and today we removed the railing to replace those anchors. They are made of thin soft steel and would not stay tight which made the rail loose. We bought quality anchors from Lowe's for the right side railing and no problems. Also the masonary bit that comes with it is for an SDS rotary hammer drill. We had to buy a new bit for our half inch hammer drill. We would still buy it again and may do so for the back stairs. The item came damaged several places right on the railing both sides the instructions were pictures on vital key points to assembly Poor communication after all assembled the spindals rattle sounds cheap feels cheap Not worth the money or time I’m not even being critical Too many issues but not stable enough ultimately

Order came in and box was ripped and in bad condition. I opened it to make sure nothing was bent, which it wasn't so it was put together that night and placed. Next day went on to Walmart site to order other things and now this item dropped in price. Walmart and the store it came from refuse to refund me the 40$ extra I paid. This isn't good business at all. Will not deal with that particular company or Walmart. Was told to box it up and send it back to get the refund. Since I had 2 boxes these are very heavy and was already put up. Bad business! Should have granted a refund

The reason for a 1 star is due to the order I received was in a box that was ripped or something so I had to open it to make sure product wasn't bent. Everything was fine so installed it the same night. Placed a Walmart order and the price went down over 40$ for what I just bought and Walmart and the company won't give theme that money back. They want me to send back the other 2 I bought and then buy again to get my money back. Told the companies this was a very heavy object and the box wasn't in the best condition but didn't care! No refund.

This is in a million small pieces that you have to put together!! We haven't even completed it yet! It looks like an IKEA version of a rail!! VERY disappointed as we're an older couple and will probably have to hire someone to assemble it or return it
