It works. Attracts a lot of japanese beetles. The first year, the bags were filled almost every week for 2 months straight. Last year, the population was down to about 1/3 as many. Hoping even less this year. NOTE: It's important to place it at the edges of your yard, away from the plants you want to protect.
Great to have on hand when June hits and the Japanese beetles invade. They love the hibiscus and tomatoes, so they are a nesssecity. Put 4 up around the parameter of your yard and you won't have a problem.
Worked well. Still had some, but not nearly as many Japanese Beetles on our roses after putting this up. Just don't put it close to the plants you are trying to protect. I moved it to the opposite side of the yard.
Worked great at attracting and collecting Japanese Beetle's. Filled the bag in about 1 week but it came with a second bag that's lasted about 2-1/2 weeks so far. I put in a location about 5' away from the garden and haven't had beetle any problems. I hung on a tree about 5-6' high. The beetles did eat leaves in about a 2' radius from the trap. This was a tree I didn't care about but wouldn't hang on something you planted.
I had a terrible Japanese beetle problem. They were everywhere in my vegetable garden, on my blackberries, and other plants. They were constantly flying by my head. Well, not anymore thanks to this trap. I don't hear them flying around anymore and the only place I see them now is piled up in the trap bag. I should have gotten this trap years ago.
It works. But it claims to be a multi pack and it is not. It's one trap. One bait. And 2 small plastic bags. That's a miss leading ad. So I won't purchase again. That company will lie itself out of business. Too bad . The product does work.
Look how my product arrived, it looks like it had been opened, not recommended
Wrong description. I knew it was too good to be true but the 24 pack is a 1 pack
This was far more work than reward. Assembly was a nightmare as the lure needs to be placed inside the discs and ot is oily and smells terrible. It was impossible to get it placed wothout dripping. It actually left a mark on my leg were it dripped. The lure is on the outside so they just swarm around it instead of entering the bag. I am unfortunately still picking them off by hand. Do not waste your money. I am waiting for the other brands bags to arrive.
I hung this bag up for over a week and it never caught one bug even though thousands were flying around it. I pushed some bugs down in the bag and they just crawl back out..
