This product is well made and relatively easy to install because it comes with an auger to dig the hole (manual powered). The concept is that worker termites will eventually find the bait and possibly carry some of it back to the queen. There is a "pop-up" feature that lets you know when something is feeding on the bait. In my case, the fire ants seemed to like it. Please note that this bait system is NOT guaranteed to kill the Queen. It will let you know the approximate location of the colony so a professional company can deal with the colony. In my case, the termites were in a tree that was not near my home. After cutting down the tree, I put 6 of the 12 stakes in the area. In 6 months, only 2 of the 6 "popped-up" but there wasn't any evidence of termites, just fire ants.

I like the product overall and the ease of replacing the stakes. I use a garden too to pull up only the take and replace it. I like the red color indicators so I can timely replace the stakes.

Some of cost is just for name, but it also is of very good craftmanship. Center plug is spring-loaded to indicate bait has been emptied.

So far i have no complaints on it. seems to be really good

The product was received as prescribed. The termite control was easy to apply. I would recommend it highly.

This is simple to use, takes about 30 seconds to switch out a stake. I found each stake needs to be replaced each Fall, dreaded activity returns

has worked well over the years, although hole for the termite stakes is hard to dig. I hammer in a short pipe and remove soil with that rather than using the screw tool that comes with the box.

I find dead termites so I assume that's better then living ones.
