I have been using the Shampoo and Conditioner for several months and I find my scalp feels cleaner and my hair is more managable. Recently started using the Spectral DNC. I find my remaining hair has a thicker feeling - but I have not been using it long enough to see any regrowth. But I do like the texture feeling!
I noticed baby hairs within a couple weeks! Some of my balding areas didn't see as much growth, but I only used it for a month. Looking forward to getting more and seeing if my sparse areas will fill in more! I have PCOS which has caused balding spots in the front and temples.
I have been using minoxidil for years. While it has worked fine it made my scalp very itchy. I added the Spectral DNC product to my nightly regimen. The itching stopped very quickly and I rarely have any itchiness anymore. I plan to slowly cycle off the minoxidil and just use the nanoxidil. It's been less than a month so I cannot report on effectiveness in regrowth yet.
I'd been using it for almost 10 years, yet without any additional letters. Just Spectral DNC. The formula has been changed many times since, from sticky substance in 2008 to clear and nice-smelling one today, but the result is still OK. I'd certainly recommend it.
My hairline was starting to receded which is why i first turned to Ds Labs. The directions for this product are to leave in. Spray areas you want to address and massage into scalp then leave in for the day. I really like the texture it leaves after drying. It dries quickly and is ready to style. Its meant to be hair stimulating and does leave a tingly feeling for the first minute or so but its nothing bad. So far it has made my hair feel healthy and even a little thicker but i am still waiting to see how much it will impact my receding peak.
Too early to determine effectiveness compared to other products, but doesn't appear to be less effective than competitors; definitely much easier and more pleasant to use in comparison to other products that are greasy and uncomfortable to have on your head all day.
The product is really well and has changed my hair amazingly. But when I opened the box to refill my bottle, I found the other bottle spilled out and all the product was out and they haven't opened it since I received the shipment. I am very devastated by that.
it makes the hair sticky. Talk to your doctor there might be better options available
Performance: After 3 months of use it appears to be resurrecting individual hairs on the left and right front, which is the primary reason I tried this product, but quite frankly it is hard to tell at this point if the performance is on its track of a more fuller hair on those areas, and I trust it will. Rogaine was not designed to work on the front areas and it also left the hair too sticky after each application, as opposed to this DNC product, which still a bit sticky on the scalp but if I am careful with the application the hair on those areas does not get as sticky and that is a plus for me because I am accustomed to wear my hair clean with no products on it. I will continue using DNC for another 3 months in the hope that what I see now is only the beginning.
After about 5 months of consistent usage following the directions, I still haven't experienced any results and don't expect to. Also, the fruity smell is unbearable. I'm in the early stages of hair loss, so this should be working as advertised. Minoxidil might be a better choice for some men. I'll give it a few more months. Overall, very disappointed in this product.
