Great Resource for all second grade reading skills!
This reading workbook is a really great resource to have in the classroom. One of the best parts for our current times, is that there is also an online version. I like having the hard copy to flip through in front of me and then I can use the virtual version for my virtual teaching! It is very comprehensive covering everything from fiction, nonfiction, step by step directions, etc. to all different skills like true/false, compare and contrast and fact and opinion. I own both the 3rd and 2nd grade version and I like that the text size is larger and the pictures and photographs are larger for the 2nd graders, it also gives the second graders a larger spot for their writing. *I participate in the Carson Dellosa brand ambassador program and have received this product for free to review.

Excellent!
I love these Spectrum books! They are so thorough in the content and an excellent resource. I am able to use this during whole group learning and during small group time to reinforce things we are learning. Excellent resource and would recommend to anyone! I participate in the Brand Ambassador Program for Carson Dellosa and have received this product for free to review.

Common core based textbook
Like Spectrum books for any other grade, Grade 2 book is excellent book which is based on the common core requirements.

Nicely put together, not for short attention span
It is a well put together resource, however not a good fit for my 7 year old who has the attention span of a squirrel lol

I am an El teacher, I like the texts they are not too long and have accessible language. I wish the questions would include grammar concepts and the Answers to the questions could be taken right out of the text.
