Speed Queen 3.2 cu ft Top Load Washing Machine with Perfect Wash

The machine is great. The process to get it not so much

I love my new speed queen washer and dryer! They have many options and truly clean and dry clothes so efficiently. I did try to wash my king comforter and it fit but it didn't clean it as there wasn't enough room to probably wash it. I then put it in the dryer and it burned the corner of it because it was just too big to probably move properly. Got rid of that and moving in to a duvet cover instead.

After our last washing machine went out after only 3.5yrs from a power surge we decided to make the switch. The less electronics and extra large tub are great upgrades. Washing a comforter is no longer a laundromat trip as the machine handles this with ease. We are waiting on our dryer to go out so they match.

I want a washer that will actually get my laundry clean! Speed Queen, (top load/agitator), actually uses water & agitation to get clothes clean the old school way. No more damp clothes that reek with odors after washing like with the new eco-friendly water conserving machines! Gross! The first Speed Queen washer & dryer I purchased lasted 12 years, (and the dryer was still running like a top!). The first set was put through the ringer, pun intended, with laundry for an active family of 4. When my washer finally kicked the bucket, off I went to purchase an upgraded Speed Queen. I was able to get a beautiful black set & the dryer has a steam refresh/sanitize option, which I love! The price may seem steep, but you absolutely get what you pay for with Speed Queen. I AM SOLD, 100%!

We recently replaced our Maytag washer and dryer with a speed queen, washer and dryer, and we have come to realize our clothes previously were not completely clean. It wasn't until we started using the speed queen set that we realized what clean clothes looked smelled and felt like. Kind of sad, but I'm glad we have this set now.

Basic, beautiful, and beyond superior to any washer I've owned. I just wanted clean, great results the first time and no rewashing pesky stains ever again. It fills the bill! Wish I had owned one when the kids were little, you could not find a better washer for a family!

Works great. My husbands work clothes are always covered with grease and oil and this machine gets them so much cleaner than anything else we have ever had.

I like it, cleans clothes well. You have to add water to the fabric softener otherwise some stays behind so that's different. The top of the drum gets some water residue that needs periodic wiping. I'm just happy I don't have to worry about mold so that was my primary reason for switching to top load. The front load was super moldy.

I should have listened to the bulk of the reviews with this one and gone with the regular agitator and not this one that "pushes the water through the clothes" to get them clean. The only thing I can say I like about this machine is the quietness, the steel drum, and the hand wash v/s delicates features. Otherwise, I truly only use the heavy duty cycle because that is the only cycle that gets my clothes even a little clean. I am using the same detergent that I used with my front load (except I picked up the non-HE version hoping that would help get the clothes cleaner since this fills all the way up). I dislike the touch screen buttons, I dislike the fact that I have to close the lid for the water to run for it to fill, I hate the lock on the lid, I extremely dislike how unclean some of my clothes seem to come out. I wish 100 times over that I would have just gotten the other version with the true agitator, especially for the price and for how long I will have to own this machine to make it feel like I've been a good enough steward of my money that I can get a different machine.
