Speed Queen FF7010WN 3.5 Cu. Ft. White Front Load Washer

After a month of use, I am very happy I spent the money and purchased this washing machine. I was originally going to purchase a top-loader, but wanted to use less water as we are on a well. I was concerned with the smaller drum size at first, but I have had no issues because you are encouraged to fill items to the top of the drum, per the instruction manual. I only need to use a small amount of detergent and have used liquid, powder, and laundry sheets successfully. I mostly use the Heavy Duty cycle, as I don't believe the Normal (eco) mode uses enough water to properly clean the clothes. There are many options to choose from to customize each cycle. The high speed spin is so fast (with minimal vibration) that the clothes and towels come out almost dry. Between the reduced wash time (from my old machine) and the spin cycle working so well, my laundry time has been greatly reduced.

This Speed Queen front load washer is top notch. It is taller than I am used to even without the optional base. I think I will actually be fine without a base because of that. I love the simple design of the keypad and it makes selection of your cycle easy. It just sounds like a quality machine during a cycle. The 3000 rpm spin cycle gets my clothes almost dry before I put them in the dryer which certainly helps with the dry cycle. Clothes are perfectly clean each time no matter t he cycle selected and with little help from me beforehand. My retailer also educated me on using powder detergent and only 2 tablespoons to extend the life of my machine even further so I have been doing that and it is true that it cleans with way less product than the detergent manufacturers suggest and saves on wear and build up inside my machine. The cycles are typical and reasonable amounts of time so you get on with your day. The signal at the end was a bit low for my hearing even on the loudest setting but I have heard others say their older machine was way to loud so maybe there will be a happy medium there one day. I just love everything about this front loader. I am so thrilled I will have it for so long that I may get tired of it and replace it but not because it failed and I was forced to unlike those other washer brands did. I do pop the door open after a cycle to allow the moisture to dry out simply because I am accustomed to doing that with my old washer where I had no problems with mildew smells like some do. I will take the suggestion of my retailer and use Simple Green spray once a week on the rubber seal at the bottom because it see it really does collect lint and gunk way better than any of my other washers so I know it is doing a superior job. Just touching this machine you can tell it is made with quality materials just like in the olden days. I'm just so pleased. This may be my last washer to ever buy!!

I replaced my Maytag Neptune with a Speed Queen. I loved my Maytag and I am not disappointed at all with my Speed Queen. It is very easy to use and I love all the washing options.

Didn't want a computer controlled washer that told me how it was going to wash. I have the ability to command it and it does a great job with less water and quieter. I expect it to last 20 years like my old one.

This Speed Queen W/D works wonderfully. It is so quiet and cleans so much better than any other w/d I have owned in the past. I highly recommend the Pet features; it is so convenient to take out your pet's hair before you wash it.

They may be expensive, but so far totally worth the cost! I cant believe how dirty my clothes were after washing in my old machine. The speed queen washes in a quater of the time and everything is CLEAN. My partner is a well digger and I work in a weld shop in Florida, so our clothes get very dirty and sweaty. They always felt yucky after washing and had a underlying stink that i couldnt get out. Tried borax, oxiclean, laundry sanitizer and bleach. Nothing worked. I use Woolite because I dont like strong smelling products. With my awesome Speed Queen, even on quick cycle, our work clothes come out squeaky clean and sweet smelling! Ive also noticed a lot less lint in the dryer. The controls are easy to see and a breeze to use. I leave the washer door open when not in use so it doesnt get funky. I also wipe the gasket every week. If you are on the fence about purchasing this set or just washer, it's worth the money. I believe this set will last the rest of my lifetime, and probably be my son's inheritance, lol!

After putting up with a top-of-the-line GE washer that had to be serviced 20 times in three years I finally threw in the towel and gave up. I now on a speed queen front loader that is the best washing machine ever. Even the twice the price of the others I know I've gotten a bargain.

I just want to say that this front load washer is the best of the best. I should have got one of these along time ago. It works amazing and this is my second speed queen that I have owned. I would highly recommend this front loader to my family and friends.

Speed Queen has a Great Reputation as being a solid reliable Washing Machine. Most Laundromats use the Speed Queen Brand. I wish I had bought a Speed Queen 11 years ago, I didn't and my 11 year old washing machine from another brand broke down. I knew I would only replace with a Speed Queen Washer. I did and I love it. Why?? The Frontloader uses less water and less soap. I am saving money on my water bills. My clothes come out clean. The Speed Queen is truly a remarkable machine. It is the only brand I will buy.

The machine definitely feels quality with a high degree of durability. It's been a short amount of time so can't tell for sure but wash quality is great. Knocked off 1 star for two reasons: 1. Machine shakes during washing and moves all-over the place - could be due to how powerful it is (which is great) but also makes it hard to stop from "walking" even after having purchased special risers for it 2. Door lock mechanism is somewhat faulty and looks / feels / sounds cheap; 1/2 the time the door-lock sensor doesn't think the door is locked so you have to "play" with it and the door lock itself has an unpleasant plastic closing sound and requires quite a bit of force to close Overall, happy that we supported a made-in-the-USA company and hope to have this machine for a long time...just wish the door-lock had a little more design baked into it.
