SPEED RACER ROCKS!!!
I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL RECENTLY THAT THIS MOVIE WAS EVEN MADE. IT WAS WAY AHEAD OF ITS TIME. I REMEMBER WATCHING THE CARTOON AS A KID AND I LOVED IT. THIS MOVIE IS JUST LIKE THE CARTOON IN MANY WAYS. THE PEOPLE THAT DID THE MATRIX DID THIS MOVIE. DON'T LISTEN TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND WATCH IT FOR YOURSELF. THIS IS A VERY GOOD MOVIE AND I REALLY LIKED IT. GET YOUR COPY TODAY.😊

age group of 10 - 13 year old boys
I reviewed this movie today SEP 17, 2008. After having watched it I can understand why it did not do well in the theaters. It is overall very juvenile and would most likely appeal to the 10-13 year old boy or girl. Although it is obvious that a fair amount of time and effort went into the computer based graphics I found the story line to be somewhat weak and lacking. As an adult had I seen the movie first I would not have bought the DVD. For a youngster it might make a nice colorful gift for a couple of hours of viewing. There are a couple of extras included on the DVD as well.

Wow! What A Trip!
I don't know why people are being so critical about this one. It's dazzling. It has a lot of action and entertains in its own right. If I do have kids in the future, this is something I would want them to watch. A very cool peice of eye candy!
