Speedball Super Pigmented Acrylic Ink, 2 oz., Burnt Umber

Absolutely love this Acrylic Paint Tube in Pthalocyanine Blue. It is a wonderful shade of blue thats stays just as vibrant when it is dry as it is when it is wet. It is also very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend any of the Royal & Langnickel products. No complaints on any I have used. Keep up the great products!

This paint is a deep, rich gorgeous blue. It comes out of the tube effortlessly and is so smooth to paint with. It glides over paper and saturates canvas. This blends beautifully without being streaky. It has a nice, thick creamy consistency and thins very well with a bit of water if needed. It washes off so easily with gentle soap and water. There was nothing I didn't like about this paint!

My grandfather was an artist when he was alive. He used watercolors and taught me a lot. These little tubes were great. Great colors. Loved mixing them to make more colors. Had so much fun trying to remember some things my grandfather taught me a long time ago.

With painting as a hobby, I was happy to find this paint option. The paint has a rich and vibrant color and goes onto paper smoothly. The thick, rich texture makes it easy to use less to produce the shading I want. I love that it maintains its vibrancy when dry and does not show brush lines. The tube makes it easy to control the amount of paint I'm dispensing, and it dries fairly quickly. No bad odors either. Overall, a great choice for artistic expression. Simply put...it is such a joy in creating with Royal & Langnickel's beautifully, vibrant acrylic paints! I had the pleasure of using their Essentials Acrylic Paint Tube in Raw Umber that was uniquely stunning! Not only because of the visible beauty to the eyes, but also because of the optimal quality & application that comes along with using these acrylic paints. The pigmentation of this acrylic paint was remarkable! With that being said, it was just as easy to mix the paint with a little water to get a softer application that was quite lovely as well! In addition, the Essentials Acrylic Paint Tube in Raw Umber was super easy to work with thanks to its luxuriously, thick & creamy texture that allowed for a seamlessly, smooth painting experience. It didn't matter which type of brush stroke technique was used, I got the same experience every time, because of the amazing formula! Also, I used Royal & Langnickel's Essentials Acrylic Paints on a few different surfaces and textures. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the acrylic paints consistently performed across-the-board! As if that weren't enough, this particular formula mixed with ease and dried down without compromising the impressive pigment & vibrancy it yielded while wet! Wow!! It truly doesn't get any better than that in terms of acrylic paints! Needless to say, I can't wait to get my hands on more colors from the Essentials Collection!!

I would recommend everything in this set. The paints some of them had a burping issue where it kind of exploded out of the tube when it was new. I started giving them a little shake and that seems to have mostly fixed that. Brushes are great, and the paper was really good thick and quality, HIgher quality than i would have expected to come from a convenience store carried brand. This is quality like found in a quality art supply shop.

I have used this set on a few occasions now, and am very satisfied with the quality and smoothness of the watercolor. I love how you only have to use a tiny smudge to get a thorough coverage, so this product will last me a long time. I have completed 2 mini watercolor pieces, and have barely scratched the surface of the amount of watercolor per tube. The great this too is that when you are running low in tubes, you can empty the tubes into tubs and use the watercolors until completely gone. Think about the watercolor tubs you used as a kid! So again, the colors are vibrant, the package is perfect, it comes with 2 good quality beginner brushes that do not shed, and has every color you should need to start basic projects. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

I wasn't quite sure what color to expect from raw umber, but it reminds me of the smudged color left behind in black bean paste. When it is concentrated, it almost looks black although it's still a brown black. When the paint is spread out, it shows the brown color better. I think using this from a tube is easier way to access paint than from open top bottles. It is a nice consistency.

This would not be my first choice of paint. Sadly it dries to quickly and if you add water to thin out the thickness of the paint, it takes extremely long to dry. There is no middle ground. I prefer my paint to dry quick but not so quickly that once I dip my brush and go back to the canvas it is already dried. When it comes to the color I find the description fits it well. The brown shade on the canvas was smooth, bright and easy on the eyes. I find the way the color looks on paper is by far the best compared to any acrylic paint I have used. Sadly, this paint does not blend or mix well with other colors. This includes the same brand of paint and other brands. As an artist who likes to paint a certain way this paint is not a choice I would take but it may work for your methods. If the paint didn't dry so fast or if it blended better I would use it more. There's just too much about it that doesn't go with my methods.
